I can use any type of weapon lol. Why is it restricted for you?

Semi is crap in crucible due to people moving from side to side fast & your sensitivity isn't really fast since it's not a fast paced game.

Burst is a bit better but automatic is the way to go in crucible imo if you want to win most 1v1 and against multiple targets.

Imo automatic > burst > semi > hand cannon in pvp

Hand cannon is the way to go in pve ... lol such a damn beast, one shot killing everytiem

Btw, if you want to level your second subclass without having to grind it out, just do bounties with your first subclass, then when you go to hand them in, swap over to your second subclass and it will get all the experience. It makes for a much more enjoyable experience.

Also, holy shit at the difference at using an auto rifle in PvP makes.

From everything I'm reading online, game sounds like a disappointment. I give it about a week when the Honeymoon period fades and this game is forgotten and nobody really plays it anymore.

Its sad. I feel like all these big hyped megaton games disappoint these days and have little to no lasting value. Only impress the senses immediately with their top notch production value but as time goes by you can see there really isn't much too it and is lacking in features that games in the genre had even over 10+ years ago.

Yeah I learned a long time ago that peoples first impressions on a game they got hyped for, spent months waiting for and spend over 40 quid on are extremely warped.

From what i'm reading, taking away the extremely negative and positive views, and looking at the average views it has been a let down.

A LOT of people mention the repetitive feeling, the fact that instead of a 'vast world' everybody was expecting, it's like a cluster of maps   you go to and doesn't have that 'epic' feeling.

People are noting that it has MMO elements but it's very pointless because there's obviously nowhere near enough people in a session as opposed to MMOs where there is an ACTUAL world absolutely full of actual people interacting.

By far the most common thing i've read, so I have to trust is that it's a game that tries to be several different things, and for the most part does them fairly well but it doesn't exceed in any area.

I've been reading pretty much the same things. Sounds like Bungie started off with a really ambitious concept, realized what they were doing might not have been practical, but then was like "Bah, whatever it'll sell a billion copies if we hype it enough" and ended up with some sort of inbetween MMO/Halo concept thing.

The whole idea behind this game goes against everything that made the Halo Bungie games fun. I remember reading developer interviews about how they obsessed over the sizes of the maps and how they always were shrinking them and shrinking them, because they could only get the games to run online really well with 6-10 players (Or a certain low number of AI in the single player) and in order to keep the combat constantly exciting and give players a constant objective and goal with out too much repetitive "walking" or downtime, (i.e., always having enemies to kill, doors to walk through, vehicles to get in) they had to be smaller, more contained maps. Especially because of the slow floaty gameplay that Halo had to accommodate the lack of a key board and mouse.

This game just seems to do the exact opposite of everything Bungie originally set out with, with Halo, and how to even make a console shooter really work. I'm sure it is still fun in some ways, but I'm kind of happy I didn't get too excited for it. I might get it when it's cheap just to check it out though.

Think it's in the category of games i'll pick up with a mate or 2 in a couple of years and run through with them

As for a go-to game that i'd sink time in to and keep up to date with, nah.

And what kind of bounties should I look for in order to help leveling up?

The soft level cap is at 20. After that it's you getting some special light things to get your stats up which increase your level. Something like that

Special missions which open up once you reach level 20. You get the chance to replay previous story quests and strikes on a higher difficulty for high level rewards.

There's a Daily Heroic Story, which randomly chooses which story mission you replay and Weekly Heroic Strike, which randomly choses which strike you replay.

Soft cap is 20, but hard cap is 30 iirc. To get past level 20, you need pieces of armour with the Light stat, and the higher the overall light stat, the higher the level you will be. If you remove the armour with the Light stat though, you will lose levels.

This won't matter until level 20, but if you want to see whether a piece of armour has a Light stat, look at the stats page which pops up when you hover over an armour piece, the Light stat is in the same section where the Strength, Intellect and Discipline stats usually show up.

On Bounties, do all of them, the experience you gain is ridiculous. They're best done when you doing missions, as you finish them quicker, instead of having to grind.

Blue bounties are for PvE and red are for PvP.

Haha, yeah, the two guys who I first killed him with are the guys who I roll with now. You don't get get through a battle like that without developing a bond with your team.

Before I forget, there's an amazing engram farming spot on Venus. You can farm so much its unreal. It's best done at level 18-20 so that you can rares and legendaries.

Finished the game last night. Was extremely easy in the end because me and my mates were all high level

Well worth it though. Loved the fact you could do the campaign with friends. It's miles better than what the other FPS would offer.

Going to try and do those heroic things now.

Level 20 as well.

1.40 hour did it take to finish the weekly heroic beacuse of retarded team smh

The 3 of us finished the 3 waves and started attacking the devil walker tank or whater it's name is. 1 dies & leaves (WTF??) The second one dies and goes afk for 30 min till he gets kicked.

Basically solo'd the tank till 40% where 2 others suddenly joined me (tears of joy when I saw them)

After that we killed that flying purple orb which took 30 min ish

I'm never gonna play pug heroic strike again

Gonna start recruiting 20+ players from crucible

Finished the heroic daily challenge on my own. Was way easier than I imagined.

Hate that tank. There is a good strategy to beat it though.

There are two buildings next to it. Two guys need to go in there and attack from there because it's a good hiding spot too. The third guy needs to stay in the middle and distract the tank to shoot at it while killing the captains n all who are trying to get in the buildings after the other two.
