Kolarov wants Serie A return
Manchester City leftback Aleksandar Kolarov has spoken of his willingness to return to Italy in the future.
Inter are reportedly monitoring the 28-year-old , whose contract expires in 2015, and are in line to launch a bid during the January transfer window.
However, the Serb has conceded that he is happy at City for now.
“I have a contract with City till 2015. I’m playing and I’m glad.” he told Mediaset.
At the same time, the left-back is also open minded on a return to Italy, where he previously played for Lazio.
“Someday I’d like to go back to Italy, it will happen when the time is appropriate,” he continued.”I have never had contact with anyone in the past, and I am always focused on City.”
”I’m putting in the show and I’m playing more now. We’ll see what happens in the future.”
Kolarov has made 11 appearances in the Premier League this season for City.

Italian options for Menez
Jeremy Menez looks set to leave Paris Saint-Germain, and reports in the French Press believe Italy will be his next destination.
L’Equipe have claimed that the winger will depart Les Parisiens in January, with Inter and Juventus set for a straight fight-out for his signature.
The former Roma man has found first-team opportunities hard to come by under Laurent Blanc this term.
And the sports daily insists that the Bleus international will come to Italy over the winter, however it is unclear whether his destination will be the Nerazzurri or the Bianconeri.
The Serie A pair may face competition though from Monaco, who are also said to be interested in signing the 26-year-old

Serie A return for Lamela?
Tottenham winger Erik Lamela is reportedly wanting a move back to Serie A, with the trio of AC Milan, Fiorentina and Inter being interested.
The former River Plate man has seen limited playing time in England since joining from Roma in the summer, appearing in just six Premier League games, and has previously been linked with a loan move to Atletico Madrid.
However, according to Sport Directs News, Lamela has rejected the interest from Atletico because he wants to return to Serie A with the aforementioned trio being possible destinations for the player.
Lamela played at Roma from 2011 to 2013, participating in 66 games and scoring 21 goals.

Re: Transfer News & Rumors Thread
Criscito a target for Inter
Inter have apparently set their sights on Zenit St Petersburg left-back Domenico Criscito.
Nerazzurri coach Walter Mazzarri seems unconvinced by Alvaro Pereira, who has failed to impress since his arrival from Porto in 2012, and is expected to leave in the winter transfer window, leaving only Yuto Nagatomo in that position.
According to Tuttosport, Mazzarri has made the 26-year-old’s arrival one of his top demands to new president Erick Thohir.
Criscito has just recently re-integrated into Cesare Prandelli’s Italy squad, and also helped his club qualify to this year’s Champions League round of 16, despite their last group match defeat to Austria Vienna

What i dont understand is why are we trying to bench Nagatomo ? he's been great so far this season, and we're not buying Criscito to use him as a back up

I don't think we ever considered Nagatomo a first choice TBH.

Re: Transfer News & Rumors Thread
the question is not Nagatomo.
We are looking for an alternative to Pereira . You have only an useful player in that role , the Japanese , 1 ... too little ... and Nagatomo is often injured , Pereira is crap simply

Chelsea offer Demba Ba for Guarin
Chelsea have joined the race to sign Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin, offering Demba Ba in exchange.
There were reports this afternoon that Nerazzurri directors and Guarin’s agent had visited London on Wednesday for negotiations with English clubs.
At first it was believed the sides involved in talks were Manchester United and Tottenham, but Sky Sport Italia now claim Chelsea were also present.
Jose Mourinho is said to be a fan of the 27-year-old Colombian international and wants him at Stamford Bridge.
Guarin would be a useful January signing, especially as he is eligible for the Champions League or Europa League.
It’s suggested Chelsea could offer Demba Ba as part of an exchange, perhaps including a bid for Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia too.
Senegal international Ba scored for Chelsea in last night’s Champions League 1-0 win over Steaua Bucharest, which secured top spot in the group.
He would be useful for the Nerazzurri, who need a new striker after injury problems for Diego Milito and Mauro Icardi.
Ranocchia has increasingly been pushed down the pecking order at Inter, as he struggles in new Coach Walter Mazzarri’s three-man defence.
Chelsea have the upper hand in negotiations with Inter thanks to Mourinho’s past at the club, where he won the Treble in 2010.

Chance for Criscito and Pastore
...A priority for the rossoneri remains the signing of a left back, and, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, are in competition with city rivals Inter Milan for Zenit St. Petersbourg 26 year old Domenico Criscito; both clubs are in good terms with Genoa, who could sign the Italy international in January and keep him until the end of the season.
The nerazzurri are also seeking an attacking midfielder and could have a chance to obtain 24 year old Javier Pastore, who, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, is seriously intentioned to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

Re: Transfer News & Rumors Thread
Thohir wants De Boer?
Some media sources are claiming Inter President Erick Thohir has contacted Ajax manager Frank De Boer.
The story emerged on Radio Deejay and has spread, added to the stories in today’s Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport alleging problems between Thohir and former patron Massimo Moratti.
According to this rumour, Indonesian investor Thohir was impressed by Ajax’s Champions League showing and believes De Boer is the right Coach to lead his Inter.
This would mean sacking current boss Walter Mazzarri at the end of the season to bring in a more ‘international’ profile for the club.
There is precious little evidence to suggest there is truth in the report, particularly as only a few weeks ago Thohir publicly thanked Moratti for choosing Mazzarri.
The Nerazzurri have slipped down the standings after three consecutive Serie A stalemates.

Re: Transfer News & Rumors Thread
It was always gonna happen...European football is a priority for Thohir and a 3 man defense is not the way to go.He wants Inter to be a modern club,on the pitch and off it.He said so many times before he took over.
I always thought Mazzari's gonna get the axe from Thohir eventually.
IMO Mazzari is the right man to reinstate Inter to the top of Italian football, but I'm not sure if he's the man to take us further. He's very smart tactically,if he's willing to switch to a 4-3-3 for instance which is tactically not so different from a 3-4-3 he might appeal to Thohir.

Re: Transfer News & Rumors Thread
I dont know why playing with a 3 man defense is a problem, thats the same system Barcelona used under Guardiola for so long. Now of course we are not Barcelona but with better players that system can still work.
Now i dont think that Mazzari is the man to take us back to the top of Europe, but he's one of the best domestically. If anything Mazzari's only problem is his youth philosophy and i feel that Thohir is not really happy to see Belfodil on the bench

No Interisti should believe anything from Tuttoshit. They do what they do best. Spew shit and call it news.

Simeone would be amazing. But we need to improve if we want him...We are a step in the wrong direction from Atletico Madrid at the moment.
@zizzle
It was a very different system in Barcelona, they used a diamond midfield and 3 strikers.Italian 3 man system is a whole different story with gameplay heavily relying on wingbacks. You could even see Conte dropping it in in Europe,it just doesn't seem to work against top teams using modern formations.
