two players totally different .. I think Inter needs of a profile as Naingolaan more than Hernanes (for me a bit overrated , anyway)

Wellington very close to joining Inter

Will it close this time? According to Globoesporte, yes, Wellington will be an Inter player this time around. After recovering from a serious injury, the midfielder has fallen out of the starting lineup perhaps because his desire to leave the club. He has lost a lot of space in this team and ending the season on the bench. Now, Sao Paulo would like to sell the player and the situation will be clarified by January 6 as he has an expiring contract in December 2015.

The Brazilian newspaper speaks of a concrete loan offer from Inter with Sao Paulo already committed to finding a substitute.

Inter Interested In Landing Manchester City Striker

Inter coach Walter Mazzari is keen to see Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko join the Nerazzurri during the upcoming January transfer window.

With City boasting a wealth of attacking options, manager Manuel Pellegrini clearly doesn’t see the powerful forward as a regular starter, making a January move possible.

Sportmediaset reports that Mazzari has earmarked the 27-year-old Bosnian as the club’s top priority with AC Milan’s Alessandro Matri seen as a potential alternative to the striker.

Dzeko has made 11 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring three times, but only six of those appearances have come via starts.

With the World Cup approaching, Dzeko is reportedly looking to play regularly as he prepares to represent his country in their debut appearance on the global stage next summer.

Dzeko joined Manchester City from Wolfsburg in January 2011 for €32 million. He has gone on to score 49 goals in 126 appearances for the Citizens during that time.

AC Milan And Inter Set For Player Exchange Deal?

City rivals AC Milan and Inter are being linked with a sensational swap deal which would see the Rossoneri trade hit-man Alessandro Matri for Nerazzurri left-back Alvaro Pereira plus cash.

While 29-year-old Matri has fired blanks since his €11 million summer move from Juventus, new Beneamata president Erick Thohir has stated his desire to provide coach Walter Mazzarri with a new striker, and could reportedly be willing to part with Uruguayan international wing-back Pereira to capture the former-Cagliari man.

However, as reported by il Quotidiano Sportivo, Matri is not the only name on Mazzarri’s shortlist, with several other high-profile forwards being targeted as successors to Argentine veteran Diego Milito.

Manchester City’s Bosnian attacker Edin Dzeko is the dream signing for the Biscione, but given the prohibitive costs involved in bringing him to Italy, Southampton’s Italian international Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has also been earmarked as a more realistic alternative.

Meanwhile, Inter are also rumoured to be interested in Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka of Borussia Monchengladbach.

Sandro: I Know Roma And Inter Want Me

Tottenham midfielder Sandro has revealed that he wants to stay at the English club despite interest from the likes of Roma and Inter.

Spurs have struggled as of late and some rumours have linked the 24-year-old with a move away from the club in the near future, but he insists that he plans on remaining with the team as they aim to make it into the Champions League next season.

Sandro spoke to Radio Bradesco Esportes FM about his future and mentioned his situation regarding a transfer to one of the Serie A clubs.

“Will I return to Brazil? Now is too soon. I’ll only return when I’m close to ending my career,” said the Brazilian international.

“Here with Tottenham we would like to win the Premier League, even if the real objective is to gain a spot in the Champions League for next season.

“There was the sacking of the [Andres] Villas-Boas, which I believe isn’t fully correct, but I know that results count the most in football.

“Inter and Roma want me? Yes, I know. I know a lot about the interest in me, but I’m happy with the Spurs and I haven’t made any concrete contacts with anyone.

“I can say, however, that it’s always nice to be appreciated.”

Inter talk Lamela, Belfodil and Guarin

Inter director Piero Ausilio is in London for talks with Tottenham for Erik Lamela, with Chelsea for Fredy Guarin and West Ham for Ishak Belfodil.

The Nerazzurri director of sport had already been in England before Christmas to discuss Guarin’s potential switch to Stamford Bridge.

Multiple Italian media reports placed Ausilio in London on Friday evening and there are three players he is thought to be working on.

The negotiations with Chelsea over Colombian international attacking midfielder Guarin have resumed, while the club is also eager to send Algerian forward Belfodil out on loan to West Ham United.

Belfodil arrived over the summer from Parma, but the 21-year-old confirmed he is looking for a move in order to play more regularly ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Ausilio is also in talks with Tottenham over the possibility of snatching ex-Roma striker Lamela on loan.

‘El Coco’ has struggled to adapt to the Premier League since his £25m move this summer, so reports in the Daily Express and La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest he could return to Serie A on loan at Inter.

It’s claimed agent Pablo Sabbag has been in early talks with the Nerazzurri, though Juventus are also interested and could offer Mirko Vucinic as part of the deal.

Lamela is wanted in Spain too, as Atletico Madrid have approached Spurs with their own proposal.

Inter to swoop for Mata?

Inter look likely to go into the transfer market in January, and the latest rumours link them with Chelsea’s Juan Mata.

The Premier League side have been rumoured to hold an interest in Fredy Guarin and Andrea Ranocchia.

And as such, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will try to make the most of those connections by tabling a bid for the Spaniard.

Mata has been frustrated this term under Jose Mourinho, finding himself on the bench for the big games, with a move away from Stamford Bridge looking likely.

The attacker could be available for as little as €15m

Inter working on plan B. The names…

Inter are preparing a plan B. Given the difficulty to sign players like Ezequiel Lavezzi and Erik Lamela, according to Tuttosport, Inter are setting sight on two different players that are easier to get, i.e. cheaper.

“The first is Sebastian Giovinco who already last summer was linked to Inter. The second is Victor Ibarbo who has been recommended by Ivan Cordoba for years and highly appreciated at Palazzo Saras. For both, an offer of 8 million for co-ownership could be good enough.”

Source - http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/01/tuttosport-inter-working-on-plan-b-the-names/

Inter have a favorite to replace Pereira

Inter are looking to replace Alvaro Pereira. So far, the player has a lot of interest but no concrete offers. Meanwhile, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter director Piero Ausilio already has his favorite to replace the former Porto player.

“For sometime, Inter have had its eyes on Ansaldi (Zenit), it is him the favorite if Inter can find a buyer for Pereira.”

Source - http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/01/inter-have-a-favorite-to-replace-pereira/

Inter in talks with Juventus for Paolo De Ceglie

In the last few days, we have heard many rumors of possible negotiations between Inter and Juventus for Paolo De Ceglie, the Italian fullback who is liked quite a bit at Genoa also.

According to La Stampa, despite the fact that the agent has said the player appreciates Genoa interest a lot, now with the inclusion of Inter, the Nerazzurri seem to be the favorite at this very moment. Talks have already begun and at this point, a duel with Genoa is on.

Source - http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/01/inter-in-talks-with-juventus-for-paolo-de-ceglie/

Inter have a chance to sign Juan Mata thanks to Mourinho

Inter have two targets in England: Erik Lamela and of course Juan Mata. The Chelsea player has interest from many clubs in England but Jose Mourinho, according to the Mirror, is not willing to let him go to a direct rival. In this sense, Inter are gaining positions in the ladder to sign the Spaniard.

Lamela likely to say yes to Inter

In Argentina, they are certain: this is an important week for the possible arrival of Erik Lamela to Inter. According to Terra,  the player is likely to say yes to Inter given no playing time at Spurs even less now with Sherwood as coach. Everything should be formalized after the two games with Arsenal and United.

Source - http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/01/terra-lamela-likely-to-say-yes-to-inter/

Three players on the way out

We can expect to see multiple departure this month. Sky journalist Massimiliano Nebuloni reports that the favorites to leave would be Belfodil, Pereira, and Kuzmanovic. West Ham want Belfodil while German clubs are interested in Kuzmanovic and Turkish clubs for Pereira. Everything will depend on the return of Thohir to Milan in the next few days.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/01/sky-three-players-on-the-way-out/

Milan derby for Nainggolan and D’Ambrosio

Radja Nainggolan, it is a derby between Inter and Milan. The two clubs have had their eyes on the strong midfielder for some time but Galliani seems to have the advantage because of the preference of Cagliari president to deal with the red and black director.

Same goes for Danilo D’Ambrosio of Torino, who is liked by both Milanese clubs but also Roma.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/02/milan-derby-for-nainggolan-and-dambrosio/

Ansaldi or Criscito primed to replace Pereira

Pereira is going to leave Inter. Galatasaray are the latest club to have shown interest and if he does leave, Ansaldi is in pole position to replace the former Porto player but do not rule out Criscito who has Serie A experience during his time with Genoa.

Source - http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/02/ansaldi-or-criscito-primed-to-replace-pereira/

Lavezzi not coming

He wants to stay and PSG want to keep him (at least they don’t want to let him go on loan so perhaps a decent offer to buy straight up would be good enough to convince the French?). The future of Ezequiel Lavezzi is in Paris until at least July. Tuttosport believes that the chances of Lavezzi coming to Italy are decreasing rapidly and it is very unlikely to see his arrival back in Serie A this season.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/02/tuttosport-lavezzi-not-coming/

Mata leaving

After the outburst of Mata as he was replaced in the match against Southampton, the Spanish’s departure from the Blue is now even closer. Inter are at the window but there is also Moyes who is thinking of making a huge offer to bring him to Manchester United.

Mudingayi for D’Ambrosio

The Belgian midfielder wants to play with continuity so that he can have a chance to go to the World Cup and as a result, he would welcome the transfer to Torino. This talk could also lead to Danilo D’Ambrosio, who has many clubs on his track.

Source - http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/02/tuttosport-mudingayi-for-dambrosio/

Periera and Wallace to leave Inter

Inter will let go Alvaro Pereira and Wallace who should return to Chelsea at the end of the loan. So of course, the Nerazzurri should look for at least one winger in January. The name that CdS continues pushing is Juventus player Paolo De Ceglie and also the familiar name of Danilo D’Ambrosio.

Source - http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/02/cds-periera-and-wallace-to-leave-inter/

No contact for Insua yet

“I read the latest rumors in the Spanish media but at the moment, there is nothing. They are simply rumors, personally, I have not had any contact or request coming from Inter.”

That is the agent and brother of Emiliano Insua, Maximiliano Insua, on the rumors involving the Atletico winger and the club of Walter Mazzarri.

“Inter are a great club. It is good to be linked to them but I repeat that there are no contacts. Insua is happy in Madrid and has a contract until the summer of 2016, and will give everything to the shirt of Atletico when he is called upon. Again, my brother is fine in Madrid as the club is fighting to win La Liga and also Champions League. He has not played much but he feels he is part of Simeone’s project.”

Kuzmanovic-Nocerino swap still on

Inter and Milan have not put aside the idea of doing business with one another or more specifically swapping Kuzmanovic for Nocerino. As reported by Sport Mediaset, Inter continue to appreciate the former Palermo midfielder who is finding little playing time at the Rossoneri.

Mazzarri prefers Lamela over Mata

Inter are looking for a playmaker who is capable of supporting Rodrigo Palacio. The Nerazzurri are scouting various names including Erik Lamela and Juan Mata. According to Sky, Mazzarri prefers a player with features that Lamela has rather than those of Mata. The reasons are that Lamela is familiar with Italian football while it would cost a lot of money to sign Mata

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/03/sky-mazzarri-prefers-lamela-over-mata/

One of Mata or Lamela will come if Guarin leaves

Everything involves around Fredy Guarin. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the departure of the Colombian is linked to the arrival of one of Erik Lamela and Juan Mata. Because now, Lavezzi seems to be faded away as he doesn’t seem to be the first choice of Mazzarri.

Yesterday, there was a transfer market meeting between Mazzarri, Branca and Ausilio with this result: if Guarin leaves for at least 15 million euros (maybe with bonuses), either Lamela or Mata will arrive to the black and blue.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/03/one-of-mata-or-lamela-will-come-if-guarin-leaves/

Botta to officially become Inter player today

Ruben Botta belongs 100% to Inter and today it will be official. Here is the report from the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“After the meeting yesterday between technical director Marco Branca and sporting director Ausilio as well as Stefano Capozucca, here is the agreement: the player will go to Inter outfight with a 4.5 year contract at 700k euros a season.”

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/03/botta-to-officially-become-inter-player-today/

Future of Botta depends on Belfodil

It is January 3rd and the transfer window has officially opened. And the first signing of Inter this month is going to be Ruben Botta whose transfer should be formalized today.

“From this moment on, Inter will decide how to use him: if he is kept, of course, Botta would be available to Mazzarri to do what he wants but Inter could also send him on loan.”

In other words, if Belfodil leaves, Botta stays. Otherwise, Livorno are ready to negotiate for the former Tigre midfielder.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/03/future-of-botta-depends-on-belfodil/

Branca officially asked information about Juan Bernat

“Technical director Marco Branca has formally requested information about Juan Bernat, born in 1993 and is the left winger of Valencia.” This is what the Gazzetta dello Sport has in their newspaper today.  The alternatives to Bernat are many in Criscito, D’Ambrosio and Ansaldi. With Periera who seems surely will leave the club, it is right for Inter to look for a replacement.

Inter want Lamela on loan with right to purchase

Tottenham have made it clear that they do not want to let go of the Argentinian playmaker Erik Lamela. However, if the player continues to stay on the bench and becomes disgruntled, the English club perhaps will have to let him go at the end of January. The ideal formula that Inter would like to sign Lamela is loan with option to sign at the end of the loan period. We will see if the Nerazzurri can achieve what they want.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/03/inter-want-lamela-on-loan-with-right-to-purchase/

Baldini rejected Inter loan offer for Lamela, now up to the player

Erik Lamela is the preferred player just in case of Fredy Guarin saying goodbye. This is according to the Turin newspaper Tuttosport and to which, Lamela has the potential and salary that fit the parameters of Erick Thohir’s Inter.

The problem here is that Ausilio received a no from Baldini, Tottenham director, on the loan of Lamela. And so, Inter are waiting for the Argentinian to make the first step by forcing the hand of Tottenham because there is a World Cup to play in in a few months.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/03/baldini-rejected-inter-loan-offer-for-lamela-now-up-to-the-player/

Inter willing to sacrifice Ranocchia to sign Lamela

If Inter cannot sell Guarin to fund other signings, the next victim could be Andrea Ranocchia. Chelsea have not made an official offer for the Colombian yet and so if Inter really want Lamela, the Nerazzurri would be willing to sacrifice central defender Andrea Ranocchia. Mazzarri wants the former Roma player and he is on top of Inter coach’s wish list.

Inter surpassed Roma to become favorite to sign D’Ambrosio

Inter are serious on Danilo D’Ambrosio. The goal is to provide an alternative to Nagatomo on the left wing and the one with the right characteristics is Danilo D’Ambrosio. According to Alfredo Pedulla on his website, Inter have made a decisive step to overtake Roma.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/04/inter-surpassed-roma-to-become-favorite-to-sign-dambrosio/

Inter have a new objective in the midfield

Inter of Erick Thohir want to get stronger and to do so, the club has set sight on a young prospect. This time, according to Sky Sport, Inter are looking at Tonny Vilhena, born in 1995 and is playing for Feyenoord. The central midfielder will cost around 3.5 million euros and there is also Juventus in the picture.

Fernando and Inter, no signs of negotiations

Sky Sport transfer expert Luca Marchetti comments on the chances of seeing Porto midfielder Fernando wearing an Inter shirt.

“At the moment, there are no signs of talks getting reopened but the Nerazzurri have been following him for three years.”

Inter still want Nainggolan but everything depends on Guarin

Many big clubs in Serie A are challenging each other for Radja Nainggolan. Sky transfer market expert Luca Marchetti believes that there is also Inter.

“Cellino wants 10 million for one half with Milan and Roma are offering less. Inter and Juve are there as well with the Bianconeri in the race for June. The relationship between Cellino and Gallini could tip the scale towards Milan but Roma are showing determination. Inter are not moving because a lot of things still depend on Guarin’s transfer to Chelsea. Even the Nerazzurri are interested in Nainggolan.”

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/04/sky-inter-still-want-nainggolan-but-everything-depends-on-guarin/

Ibarbo remains feasible alternative to Lamela

The number one goal of Inter is to sign Erik Lamela on loan. However, Tottenham have no intention of letting the Argentinian go on such formula and thus, perhaps it is the right time to have a plan B. According to Tuttosport, the road leading to Ibarbo of Cagliari remains alive but make no mistake about it, Inter want Lamela.

http://fedenerazzurra.com/2014/01/03/ibarbo-remains-feasible-alternative-to-lamela/

Mata would not say no to Serie A, but Inter can’t afford such signing

Inter are seriously interested in Juan Mata according to the Daily Mail. However, the club does not have the funds to sign Mata who would not say no to a new adventure in Italy. It is more likely that Mata will leave in June but still, Inter do not seem to be financially strong enough to make such signing.

Roundup: Belfodil to West Ham, D’Ambrosio closer, Lamela top target

to Tuttosport, Ishak Belfodil is in London today to complete a medical for West Ham to play there the remainder of the season on loan. Sassuolo tried very hard to acquire him, as they have been since the summer, but it was all for nought. The Algerian preferred to experience the EPL.

Torino wing-back Danilo D’Ambrosio is closer to Inter as La Gazzetto della Sport’s Laudisa has affirmed that insofar, a deal looks set for €2 million plus 50% of Ruben Botta for the 25 year old Italian.

GdS also claim that Tottenham’s Erik Lamela remains Inter’s top transfer target this mercato as his agent was in Rome yesterday whilst Inter visited to face Lazio. While the two team’s players faced each other on the field, both club’s directors were thinking of the Argentinian attacker. All is held up for Inter however on the issue of Guarin. His antics after being pulled off the field will doubtlessly cause renewed hope for Chelsea in a deal, although a new contract is also possible for the Colombian. Inter awaits a bigger offer. With that said, do not rule out the sale of the out-of-form Andrea Ranocchia.

Source(s): Tuttosport, Gazzetto della Sport.

If we actually give 2 mill + 50% of Botta for a player with less than 6 months left on his contract

Positive input from Argentina,I was excited TBH,he seemed like a fantastic player.

Plays on both wings and the hole, pacey, dribbler, intelligent.Good on set pieces, long shots.Low work rate though, selfish as well.

After an injury like his,who knows...

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8

D’Ambrosio will be Inter player, small obstacle however

Gazzetta dello Sport has confirmed: Danilo D’Ambrosio will be an Inter player.

“The small obstacle is the player that will be included in the deal. Whoever that is, he is going to be co-owned between Inter and Torino because the Granata really want to own half of an Inter youngsters.”

Torino want one of Duncan, Mbaye, Botta, and Benassi for D’Ambrosio

Torino want a player (half) included in the deal for Danilo D’Ambrosio and so it is up to the two signs to come to an inclusion to whoever that might be.

“Torino asked for Bardi first and then Kuzmanovic: Inter rejected the club in Turin in both cases. And now, they are aiming at Livorno and will ask for one of Duncan, Mbaye, Botta, and Benassi.”

Three and half year contract for D’Ambrosio at Inter

Inter are very close to sign Danilo D’Ambrosio, the Torino full back. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the last obstacle seems to be choosing one young player to be included in the deal (co-ownership) but other than that here are the details of the deal: Inter will also need to pay 2 million euros while the player is going to receive a three and a half year contract at 900 thousand a year.

D’Ambrosio already has agreement with Inter

Confirmed also by the Corriere dello Sport, Danilo D’Ambrosio is in agreement with Inter until 2017 (1.3 million a year plus bonuses) and the hope is to come to Inter now and not in June. Turin asked for Botta but Branca and Ausilio said no. At best, the Argentinian would only go the other way on loan. Easier for Torino to go after a youngster like Olsen or one in Primavera.

Osvaldo can still return to Italy

According to the Corriere dello Sport, there is still a chance that we might still see Osvaldo back in Italy.

“At Southampton, the former Roma player is not playing at his best and was recently suspended for three games. He is not untouchable and the World Cup is approaching. He can return to Italy, perhaps on loan? We should not rule out this possibility.”

Erik Lamela remains favorite, but waiting for Guarin situation to resolve

Erik Lamela remains top on the list of Branca and Ausilio.

“His agent is in Rome. Nobody is disallowed to think that there has already been contact between the agent and the Inter management: he is the favorite. Always waiting to see what will happen with Guarin who showed obvious displeasure when he got subbed out last night at Lazio.”

Tottenham will decide on Lamela soon

Sky transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio provides news regarding Tottenham playmaker Erik Lamela.

“Tottenham management in the next few days will decide if they want to send him out on loan or not. I do think that anyone in Serie A is seriously interested in the Argentinian although Inter have shown minimal interest. The new Inter management has not been as effective as we might have expected.”

Inter insisting on Lamela but depends on Guarin-Chelsea

Sky Sport believes that Inter are insisting on Erik Lamela. However, his possible arrival at Appiano would depend on Inter selling the Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin to Chelsea. Negotiations on this front have been slowed down considerably and there is no end in sight at least right now.

Inter interested in Alvaro Morata

Inter have a new transfer target: Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid. According to Alfredo Pedulla, it will be a duel with Juventus for the young Spanish national.

“Alvaro Morata, for everyone is the new Morientes because he has similar features. The player has an expiring contract in 2015 and Real Madrid finally realize that perhaps there is little margin for the renewal. We are talking about a pure prospect, born in 1992, and has lots of attention in England.”

Inter set sights on Morata for June

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Inter are looking at another option to strengthen its attack and Alvaro Morata seems to be that option. This should be a summer operation and so there is gonna be enough time to look into it. But of course, there is also Juventus to make it the Italian derby on the transfer market.

Inter still observing Pastore

More transfer updates and this time, it is about PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.

“In the meantime, from France we have more rumors on Pastore. Naturally, Inter are observing: but before anything else, Guarin-Chelsea must happen first.”

Milan in negotiations with Porto to sign Fernando

Milan are on Fernando. According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri are already in negotiations with Porto for the Brazilian midfielder who has been a long time target of Inter. There is also Napoli but right now, the situation has changed as Milan seem to have the lead in the race, ready to make a decisive attack to bring the player to the San Siro this month.

D'Ambrosio seems to be done,he will be an Inter player IMO.

The rest is classic Inter mercato Laughing Dreaming about Lamela who we can't sign until we sell Guarin or Ranocchia, showing interest in Morata while we have Icardi and Belfodil already here(but we're gonna ship them off and then do the same thing with Morata and sign someone new anyway),letting Nainggolan go to Roma cheap while we had a clear advantage for that transfer, following Fernando for 3 years and letting him go to Milan.

Happens every year,this.

You guys should be really happy on D'Ambrosio. Not only did you take away one of Milan's targets but D'Ambrosio has been the best LB in Serie A this season. Huge upgrade over Nagatomo and 25 is a good age.

And btw Fernando to Milan is far from 100%.

After that goal Lazio scored against us i dont mind seeing Gresko as a LB for a change. Still we're missing out on all our targets and D'Ambrosio wouldnt be enough.

Mazzarri continues asking for Cannavaro

The future is already written, future that will be away from Napoli after the first part of the season under Rafael Benitez. Paolo Cannavaro, in fact, could come to Inter on the request of Walter Mazzarri who wants to reinforce the current defense. The player, after being offered to Granada, could rebuild the old Napoli defensive trio with Campagnaro and Rolando.
