Yup and as soon as Falcao arrives at Arsenal, Szczesny's going to announce he's off to Atletico and we'll be back to square one again

Cesar was heavily linked over last summer, although at this point Szczesny looks like he'll be number one in the long term. Also yeh, priority should be a striker.

Julio Cesar and Shay Given are available. I would have thought these would have been the kind of keepers right up Wenger's alley, yet he sticks with the Chesney who is no where near as good as he thinks he is.

We still need a 2nd keeper, Fabianski is leaving and Viviano... well you know.

Chesney is not and never will be a better keeper then De Gea, De Gea has none of the boneheaded blunders that you write off for Chesney being young like costing Arsenal a trophy against a relegated team in a final and having one of the worst Euro's for a national team I have ever seen a keeper have.

De Gea has actual accomplishments and trophies behind him plus he is in awesome form for a very mediocre team and back line.

Koscielny and Mertersacker are far more deserving of the praise for Arsenal's clean sheets. Chesney is a liability and sloppy. I don't rate him at all and I'm kind of surprised Wenger hasn't brought an older more experienced keeper in.

Harsh on Chesney. I have seen him put on some world class saves this season and cannot remember a single dire performance he has had. At least not in the recent weeks.

Valdes will be available in the summer. Would any Arsenal fan say they would prefer Chesney over him?

Just got sent off just like he did multiple times in the past so it is not a one off error, its his technique and it sucks.
