Doesnt matter, Chelsea are functioning perfectly well without him, and operating the way their manager wants them to operate. Mata doesnt do 1/10 the work Oscar does, but of course no metric will ever capture that.

mata is incredible creatively, closes thing to cesc imo. if they can work a system for him, man utd are going to rocket the league, second half.

The other option is to wait and sell in the summer but mata wont accept that, plus they prob want the mata money now so they can buy a striker in jan whilst falling in-line with FFP. so mata simply had to go, and man utd was the only team buying.

Man utd took advantage well.

You said we didn't have any money to buy this window a week or two back rofl

initially i said that, but as the thread went on, man utd fans told me how they bid for bale, i never knew this, so i understood and i started saying why dont you go for herrera in jan. so obviously i knew that you still had money.

This season even scrubs have waltzed through your midfield like it's nothing, not only that, but then waltzed through your defence back line like it's nothing as well. It's been so easy at times it's unbelievable. Something wrong with the organization, or even mentality of the team, putting mata there won't fix it imo.

Yeah, which is exactly why I expect a couple more signings (though no idea who) Need a genuine CM with defensive capabilities, maybe a CB. (though that's isn't as pressing) I don't really know who we could bring in, probably average players but even that would be an improvement over the likes of Fellaini and Cleverley. Vidic looks out of his depth these days against mediocre forwards in the league. I will be frustrated if splurging 40m on Mata is the only move we make this window, we won't make CL with him. I'd like to think Moyes has a little common sense, even if the Fellaini transfer kind of lends evidence to the contrary.

he was a SS pretty much at dortmund, he's not really a creative #10 like Rooney/Mata are...more likely to score a goal then pick a pass Kagawa is

Kagawa isnt intense enaugh for the lge, the pace is too much. Great signing for us, mata will ease the load from jacuzzi and add fluidity. Get rooney and rvp back...apparently we have vidal signed for the summer but are now pushing for jan, that would be unreal.. Kagawa back to germany for gud -however u fcking pronounce it-on. The rebuilding has begun
