Drogba, because I never rated Samuel Eto.

Samuel Eto'o on the other hand.

me the other way round . eto is more technical . his champions league performances are better . drogba is more kick and rush bully .always using body advantages vidic always kept him quiet . drogba is red card waiting to happen . eto has won more African player of the year award .

Eto'o all the way.

Drogba is a monster and had many amazing moments, but I'd have to go with Eto'o (maybe a little biased). He's just a slightly better player and offers more IMO.

Etoo because while both were huge in big games, Etoo could compete with anyone in the top scoring charts in his day.

Etoo was also a bigger threat in behind. Now you can say, Drogba was a bigger threat in the air and thats true, but I would feel confident to suggest Etoo scored more goals in behind than Drogba did in the air. The reason is, with a threat in behind, your pass doesnt have to be as precise as the cross for Drogba.

Also Eto'o worked harder defensively.

Finally, im obviously biased.

Eto'o is the best African player ever ..

Drogba is second . Drogba from his 30's to now is better than Eto'o from his 30's to now though , hence the gap between hem has decreased. Drogba is more of a late bloomer while Eto'o has been a star since his early 20's.
