How highly do you guys expect Neymar to be ranked? I hope he will be in the top 10.

I'm mostly only interested in where Neymar and Suárez will end up in the award voting.

I think Nerman will end up in 6th-8th. If voting finished right after the Confederations Cup, he would sneaked up in the top 5.

Maybe I would have voted for Xavi in 2010.

but for sure Messi was the best individualy in 2010 and had no competition (individually)

Messi 2010 >>> CR 2013

at least Messi in 2010:
scored 60 goals, provided 20 assists.
won a major trophy (League).
individual awards: pichichi, european golden show AND ucl top-scorer.

So Messi who broke all sorts of records, having one of best individual performances ever, and actually won a trophy. Individually, pichichi european goden show and ucl top scores all while setting world records doesn't deserve the Bd'or 2012 [because CR (RM) won Liga] Razz

BUT, CR deserves the Bd'or 2013 for just scoring the most goals in 2013 because Messi who used to outscore him every season was injured in parts of the year.
Although, individually he wasn't better than Messi and when it comes to trophies he won nothing compared to a treble for Ribery (Bayern)? :LOL:

Idk which players fanboys are worse, but you guys seem more desperate for the award then the players themselves. This whole thread is about dumb logics and stupid comparisons. Your guys opinion doesn't matter so stop acting like life or death if your player doesn't win lol.

Forget about this dumb award because in 6 months the World Cup starts and we will witness who is the best player, who will lead their national team to glory that is how players should be judged playing for their national team. Some of you are too young but through the years the greats have come and gone during the World Cup not this pissing contest who gets more tap ins against almeria or gladbach.

I agree that Messi when on form and when not injured, is a better player than Ronaldo, but this year he hasn't been. If this award should go to the best players every time, it wouldn't make sense to have this award.
Also Ronaldo was the only player who showed up in the copa final, which Özil among others cost us. He also had a brace at the camp nou this year. I don't understand how he can be considered a liability, when he is so consistent. Wouldn't trade him for anyone.

Ronaldo simply hasn't been better, unless you think numerical amount of goals is the yard stick, only yard stick.

Messi half fit still had the most impact. And furthermore being individually the best, he won La Liga, Supercopa, Golden Boot, La Liga Best Player and Forward trophies, compared to Cronaldo's nice zero awards. And all top of that got Argentina to World Cup winners of the hardest qualifying groups, when Cronaldo needed playoffs because he couldn't score against Israel.

It's not even close.

I'm really just sick and tired that you have to discredit a great player in Ronaldo, just because you have to promote your own agenda. It's fair to have an opinion that is different than the one of others, but to resort to calling him a liability and giving childish nicknames, well that is just not classy in any way, and won't make people listen to you.

So why exactly he hasn't been? You can easily go and see why Kiessling got that rating, because it's based on the statistical record, which records pretty much everything that happens in the field.
