First idea is pointless. No need to elaborate on that.

2nd idea is bad. It's more 'realistic' however FIFA would have to spend months finding out who can do what, time that could be better used fixing one of the 9478 recurring problems in their game.

Not to mention, because loads of players would be useless to dribble with, you'd end up playing the exact same teams even more than you do now.

They can just do it for the top players to begin with . There's plenty of unrealistic videos of people doing 50 unrealistic skills then scoring, like it's some arcade game.

Nah it's just a bad idea

Very time consuming, creates a game where 2-3 teams are infinitely better than the rest.

EA's celebration feature is by no means a finished package. I'm guessing these changes are gonna be made on next gen alone.

I give 100x more respect to goals that are scored outside of Ultimate team. Where people actually think their longshot is an actual worthy goal.

When I score a goal like that, I never pay attention to the celebration, I am too busy celebrating, it would be somewhat pointless for me.

Holding R1 and L1 is sometimes a good celebration.

Back in the manager mode mood so I started again 3 days ago. Using the same season as before ( left around in October). Had disabled the Summer transfer window so no new signing by then. But Just played through Jan and got few players in, in the Jan transfer window.

Got a budget of 23m.

Giroud for 17m to Dortmund
Loaned out few kids
Sold some fringe youth for like 500k each or so (frimpong for 2m)
Gave Diaby away in a player deal to sign some Russian 17 year old( diaby was a free agent so cba)

Then I bid for DDR for 10m and Pogba for 13m as it was the final day. Both accepted but I opted for Pogba as DDR was 30 and peaked.

The market is too cheap on FIFA compared to real life. Benzema for 19m and Vidal for 18m.

Modric finally has a team of the week version on ultimate team. 98 agility and 99 stamina.

Benzema's value was 14m lol. I offered 19m so that they can't refuse. Madrid then bought David Silva for 23m

Also top players move too often. Every window I'm sure I see Aguero and Silva moving to Real Madrid, Benzema to Chelsea etc etc.

Pretty balanced for the budgets offered for most sides to be honest. They undervalue players but also underfund a lot of clubs in transfer markets as well.

Chelsea only has like 42m

We spend much more every window, City should have like 100m to spend tbh.

Me and my mate were 2 men down on co-op seasons with PSG in the 19th min, they scored from a penalty and we won 3-2 with 50% possession

We had way more shots too.

Passing is just too easy in this game with assisted settings. The number of opponents you play on highest division who just pass at every opportunity, pressured, unbalanced or unaware really takes away the realism out of this game. The assisted settings even 'magically' corrects your passing i.e. regardless of whether you know there might be a player to pass to, you can hold the pass button up front and the game automatically directs the pass to an available player. A lot of counter attacks are launched like that and passes just seem to magically bypass the midfield to reach an unmarked striker.

Yeah, it's sort of true that you can make "blind" passes a little too easily, maybe. Or perhaps CPU controlled team-mates should react faster to intercept.

I actually dislike that I learnt FIFA using assisted passing, especially in through balls. There are times I'd like to pass them just straight where I point with my stick, but the assisted option chooses another direction. The trouble is that once you've learnt the game the assisted way, you start taking some passes for granted and not pay that much attention to accurate direction (and power), so when you try and start learning it unassisted, you end up screwing up the simplest of passes because you weren't paying attention.

Bought this Brazilian LB called Igor and he has 97 pace and 97 stamina lol. 70 overall though but

Anyone else having problems switching clubs in the middle of career mode. I've won the champions league, a few league titles etc but no teams want to take me on because my credentials and references are too low
