Give up with career mode

Putting aside the game-breakingly slow menus, the game faults are shocking too.

Simulating matches is a joke. You're almost guaranteed an injury, sometimes a bad one. My goalkeeper is out for 4 months thanks to simulation.

Unless your squad is ridiculously stacked (I don't enjoy super-teams in career mode) then if you're the away team, you're almost guaranteed not to win

And something that completely ruins it for me, is the unrealistic targets and how it's impossible to move away from a club

So i'm playing on World Class difficulty with Aston Villa. I have a shit budget so I bring in youngsters and I manage to clinch 4th place in the last match day


I also sold Benteke in January, I had 30M roughly from his sale and a couple of others. When I finish the season in a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SPOT, my budget doesn't get added on to. No it actually went down to 20M with a lower wage budget.


My entire budget disappeared over the Summer as I moved into a new season. So... with a 20M budget and a barely 4* squad, my chairman wants me to reach the 1/4 final of the Champions league.........


My group stage was Dortmund, Atletico and Celtic. I finished 3rd in the group and decided f*ck this i'm moving to a new club.

So, I had massively over-achieved at Villa and yet every single club I apply for reject me. Why even have job oppenings if you can't ever get accepted?

Fulham (Had 85M to spend, cpu takeover happened at some point)

Rejected from each and every one of them.

This game.... if it wasn't such a big brand it would get 2/10 and people would demand a full refund.

Also, injury wise I was missing my 1st choice GK Consigli overall 83

Other GKs kept demanding mad wages so I had to get a 2nd choice gk from the free agents list on deadline day. Which meant I knew nothing about any of them and my 2nd choice GK is overall 50 as Given retired and Guzan demanded a move in the first season


I have 5 CBS 3 injured in the space of 4 games. 2 Long term injuries.

My 19 year old player who I play quite a lot is unhappy because he's not starting every game at overall 67 despite me telling him he was a FUTURE first team player.

A lot of things need fixing. Some teams have more money in real life than they do on FIFA. Players values and transfer budgets should be exactly the same as real life.

Selecting legendary just makes it unrealistic. There should be an option where everything is realistic. Targets, transfer budgets, amount you get from selling players etc. I never sell players in career mode simply because you get like half of the money. I just do part exchange deals.

Also majority of the lower teams feel overpowered. At times they pass and press like prime Barca.

Can't stand career mode. I play it briefly to get some trophies sometimes if I can be bothered, but haven't played a full season since like FIFA 10.

My biggest gripe is that no teams have individual identity IMO, they all play the same. Just gets boring. Game feels lifeless without human unpredictability.

Yeah that's true but I could almost put up with that if it wasn't for the 20 other bad things that each make it a nightmare.

I personally like Career mode myself. I just use my imagination and a bit of realism when needed.

I have 2 saves going:

- Roma save in my 3rd season. Some the transfers are ridiculous, but largely no problems with injuries. 1st in Serie A though I got eliminated by Inter in the Coppa. Just beat Chelsea to advance to the Champions Cup semis vs. Madrid, who utterly thrashed me in the group stages.

- Pro save with an attacking mid. I started him with the Chicago Fire and it took like 4 seasons ( 2 loans with Birmingham City and Auxerre) to get the club to release him by the time he had an overall of 80. Joined Chelsea for 14m and 180K a week salary

So, Cas went on youtube and found an overpowered custom tactic then decided to play me to get 'revenge'

He was winning first game 2-0 and i had my usual first game DC issue. He deserved that win though no doubt. The tactic caught me completely off guard.

2nd game I won 2-1

3rd game I won 4-0

But wow, the pressure on that custom tactic is mad.

Went from div.8 scrub to div.1 by using that tactic. Pressure and movement of my players takes everyone by surprise lol.

Been winning games 6-2, 5-1, 3-2.

The second game had to be the most intense though. Your pressing vs my pressing in the middle of the field ffs.

my scout found this dude but he is refusing to wear my team jersey and come with black jeans , blue pants and other various colors , is there anyway to fix this

They look like GK pants, maybe the system got confused and thought it was a GK?

Was he legitimately 8'2?

I mean, fifa players only go up to 6'10 without a glitch so he would've been pushing 6 foot players in the face with his stomach

I know there's a funny glitch you can do where you bench your GK, then unbench him and stick him upfront. And you have your GK upfront playing in his GK kit

I don't usually post generic long shot goals, but I'll make an exception here.

Why not include celebrations in FIFA 15 that involve running to the bench to hug players or hug the manager. Also, something like taking your shirt off and doing whatever other celebration but then you get a yellow card? That would be awesome.

Yeah i'd also like to not be forced to jog/sprint in celebrations

Looks so fkn stupid when you perform a proper celebration then as soon as it's finished your guy just randomly starts bombing away again

Yeah, I wanna do Ronaldo's 'look at me now' especially when I score a free kick.

They should remove all the celebrations that no one does in real life. Also only let players do skills they only do in real life.

First idea is pointless. No need to elaborate on that.

2nd idea is bad. It's more 'realistic' however FIFA would have to spend months finding out who can do what, time that could be better used fixing one of the 9478 recurring problems in their game.

Not to mention, because loads of players would be useless to dribble with, you'd end up playing the exact same teams even more than you do now.
