FIFA 14 discussion

This new fifa is a lot harder to learn than i thought, damn, it feels like i can hardly move with the ball. Crosses and lofted through balls are like missile guided

Has anyone tried the mobile version of the game?

Just downloaded it on my phone today. It's about 1.7 GB on Google Play, but it's quite good. I couldn't be arsed learning the new controls with all the swipes and what not so I just play with the virtual gamepad that shows up on the screen...even that takes a bit of getting used to though.

Yeh played it and yeh it's easier with the on screen gamepad.

yeah, I've got it. Don't know why as I've never gotten along with mobile gaming on a touch screen. I can't get used to it and don't find it very appealing. MT, you want a couple of games? keep in mind I havven't played anything but clubs in like two months lol. I feel like playing you.

Yeah, I like the mobile version. Really fun to play on a tablet, especially Ultimate Team.

Ultimate Team on the mobile version is such a ripoff.
Why the hell can't I use my actually UT? Makes no sense.

Yet I can use the EAsports Football Club app and make all sorts of changes to my console UT. EA is just trying to milk money out of the app considering its a free to play.

all i ever did on that was penales. And after you figure out how to score every single time, its no fun anymore.

Free-to-Play wasn't even free-to-play

Had to pay 5 bucks to unlock the other modes other than UT.

Done with this shit game

I surprisingly have gone with a La-Liga/Spain squad for my FUT.

Huge gap in RB talent though...goes from Joao Pereira up to Dani Alves basically.

I have a Serie A squad atm, i'm not that good at trading for a gain probably too impatient, can't seem to find any good bargains.

just got my final warning from the board of directors in my career mode for cursing at referees apparently....aka listening to music while playing and the game thinks im raging at the refs because the kinect picks up the music

turned off the kinect feature now so i don't get sacked

I got FIFA 14 for ps4.. And this is my first FIFA game and I'm soo bad lol.
Well actually this is my second FIFA. I have 95 for my genesis. But that's the only other one I really played. I'm playing on semipro and I can barely ever score. Almost everything ending 0-0, with me occasionally loosing 1-0.

Any advice ? What are some basic skills or tactics that could help because I pretty much don't know what I'm doing

Believe in yourself and in the 4-2-3-1

They really need to fix career mode. Just because a player turns 30, doesn't mean he has to decline and drop rating.

Just because a player is young, doesn't mean he goes up without even playing a game.

Needs to be more depth to it. Like new signings dropping ratings if they don't perform. Or older players ratings increasing if they perform well.

Just got to the EPL with my Leyton Orient team

I used the billionare owner thing during my first season and bought a whole bunch of solid young players. Now just won promotion to the EPL and the Europa league. Also living off goals from my VP.


I need a new LW currently, hoping my youth player develops fast as he is 16, 71 overall with 85+ potential, also, Zouma is a freaking boss in this game!

I am hoping to do well this season, improve more, sign a new CB and a LW next season and amount a full on assault at the EPL title.

Anyone else find that Shaw and Ward-prowse barely grow as players, they increase in like 3 skills for me and that is it. Annoying overall.

Only two players in my starting XI aren't English, my VP and Zouma.

I will probably not sign another English CB though, there is only Caulker and Smalling as options so it'll probably be an international CB. LW, I am unsure, I'd like to keep my team English but not many options unless I want Scott Sinclare

Got this for Christmas so a bit late to the party.

Dislike the new transfer window.

Currently taking a Celta Vigo side and trying to put them in European places in La Liga. Started off well in the season, and was 4th at one point. Slipped down after a terrible run of games to 15th but I've climbed back up to 8th. Doubtful I'll finish top 4, but I think I can get a Europa League place. Still getting used to the game and I have some obvious flaws in my team that I wanted fixed but could not find suitable players for in the first transfer window.

Only playing on World class...I expected to come in and go right to legendary like usual, but I'm finding this game quite different to previous FIFA's, and slightly more challenging. Either that or I'm still getting used to the game.

I've found I'm scoring more beautiful goals in FIFA14 than in previous versions, which I like.

So I tell my 5* rated scout to find the right type of players for me at Juventus... he comes back with these players who I know from real life are f*cking useless
