Just because Benzema doesn't constantly press or make runs doesn't mean he's lazy.

According to 'Marca' only Ángel di María ran more than Benzema against Kopenhagen:

He needs to desperately leave Real Madrid.

He's just "another" player there. He needs the affection from the fans to make himself feel good about himself. He's a confidence player, exactly like Torres. He went from being treated to a God as again, "just" a Chelsea striker.

What motivation do you have when you play for a team that boos you IN YOUR OWN STADIUM? Really hoping he leaves in January. Hopefully Madrid give us 30-40m+Karim for Suarez in January.

I'm sure Benzema understands how critical the Bernabeu fans are, so hopefully it's motivating him.

I'd say Benzema and £10m sounds fair for Suarez, considering Benzema is worth around £35-40m and Suarez £45-50m.

I think Arsenal will get him in the summer if he wants to leave. We need a striker, he may want a new club, he may want to link-up with Özil again, he's probably the best that will be available in the summer and Arsène is a huge fan so will pay what Real Madrid will ask for him. Arsène will give him the confidence he needs and will play him in a system which suits his game.

Benzema 40m pounds ? Maybe on another planet ffs. The guy is worth no more than 30m EURO. Benzema + 25m for Suarez and they may accept it.

He actually said in the post-CL game interview that he respects the fans, whether they boo or not. It's their right. All he can do is work hard and try his best.

Btw, when he left the pitch, he had run 9.8k in the game... more than any other Madrid player at that time against Coopenhagen. That's a ton for a striker. Midfielders always lead that category and fullbacks that overlap a lot.

Also, what you guys are missing is that Carlo is trying to implement a very structured and tactical system...  Think about who we have on our team and if their brain cells can handle it  80% of the team is struggling.

The key is to remain within the confines of the scheme and try and get comfortable with it.  It takes time.  If you're a forward (CF especially), you're a lot more dependent of the rest of the team functioning since you're at the end of a buildup.  If the scheme isn't working, you're going to look the worse just because of where you are in the action...

As long as we get results, the criticism won't have too much teeth for Carlo and he can keep trying to get everyone to PhD level on footy... but if we start losing, then he will need to dummy it down .

Oh and 4 goals + 4 assists in about 700mins mins is not bad tbh.  That's the pace for another 20+ goal and 20+ assist season. He's not a pure 9, so he's going to get judged on goals and assists, not just goals.

When the ENTIRE team struggles for consistency, including CR7, you're going to blame the position that is most reliant on the team functioning well?  Good job GL.  At least in Madrid, i can understand that they want to see a Spanish cantera play who has been a hero for them at the youth level (Morata)... Players go through good and bad form. Benz (and Higuain) just came off an ultra-rotation system that destroyed both their games. They're building back up.

Benz ran 1k more than any other Madrid player at the time he left the last game (80th min)... 9.82k total. He'll get there. Just a matter of time.
