Welbeck sucks. What the hell is he doing as a United starter?

Fergie would be rotating like crazy in his grave if he saw this United team.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
I don't know who to support in england. I would enjoy winning the league again after so many years, but I also wouldn't mind Spurs winning it as an underdog or Man U winning, a club I always liked and respected a lot. I was an Arsenal sympathiser for a while, but I don't mind them anymore as long as Wenger is in charge.

He's good when given a bit of space in front of goal but other than that...yeah I don't see why he should start.free_cat wrote:Welbeck sucks. What the hell is he doing as a United starter?

Spurs are the white knights of the EPL. Support Spurs. Especially since after Modric and now Bale, there is certainly going to be, if there isn't already, bad blood between Madrid and Tottenham, despite Tottenham ripping them off twice.free_cat wrote:I don't know who to support in england. On the Man U game, Liverpool were OK, United were terrible.
Onto the real game.

Overall that was a pretty boring game. Neither team really had any style or anything and the attacking players on the field weren't that exciting to watch either. Overall a haphazard game.
I guess both teams just desperately wanted to win.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
Sounds like a prototypical Liverpool-ManU match... Seriously, have the neutrals in this thread never watched one of these before? They're almost always disjointed, violent, raucous games with at least one instance of players lashing out. Never a structure, both teams are always too up for the game to settle.Yohan Modric wrote:Overall that was a pretty boring game. BPL = Boring Premier League?
Last 3 games I've watched have been a complete borefest: Chelsea - Man U, Liverpool - Man U and now Arsenal Tottenham even worse.

The PL isn't a walkover league like La Liga, free_cat, where cricket scores are common due to crappy defending

Wow, Dawson f*cking sucks. Why does he play? Doesn't spurs have Kaboul or Chiriches?

Kaboul injured, Chiriches probably too new.free_cat wrote:Wow, Dawson f*cking sucks. Why does he play? Doesn't spurs have Kaboul or Chiriches?
But I agree, Dawson is woeful. I am sure AVB doesnt like him, but he dont have a choice right now.
That being said, I was surprised he sold Caulker, who to me is quite decent for a young guy. Better than Dawson easily.
