Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
Spurs has a decent record against Arsenal the last 3-4 years. They have won more games than they have lost vs Arsenal in that span.

I think too that without bale spurs will have a difficult time. They need to finish whatever chances they get during the match.

Spurs already have a better team without Bale than last season and they're set to bring in even more good signings. I'm backing them to beat Arsenal emphatically.

the rest part may happen but i believe it wont be so easy. Wilshere, Cazorla and Ramsey are good enough to handle the situationFirenze wrote:Spurs already have a better team without Bale than last season and they're set to bring in even more good signings. Yeah but you can't expect the signings to slot in and perform straight away. Not scored from open play yet. Besides, the match is at Emirates. No way Spurs are winning this one.

the last 2 times Spurs visited the emirates
Arsenal 5-2 spurs
Arsenal 5-2 Spurs..
Spurs were heavily tipped to win, Spurs won't win FACT, I am ready to enter a Sig bet...
maybe I am complaining too much, but I am tired of hearing Arsenal being thrown away, just came from the Liverpool fc Forum, and they seem to take Spurs more seriously ( FOR THE 3RD FVCKING YEAR STRAIGHT)...maybe Wenger is right, people are being Brainwashed by the media

Definately wont beat us emphatically. I think they will find it difficult to deal with the ability and fluid rotation of cazorla, rosicky, wilshere and ramsey, paired with walcotts pace. They might get at our defence but do they really have any real danger man now? could be a high scoring game

F*cking Brendan Rodgers.
Cissokho, Allen and most important Kolo Toure all injured because of a worthless cup. Touré might be out for a while.

Its great for english football if the biggest club in the country can compete for the title, and i think it would be massive for them if they could get a win on sunday.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
Papiss Cisse opened the doors of his home to young Newcastle fans as the striker looks to find his scoring boots for the new season.
The Toon No 9 and the lucky supporters played FIFA, pool and had a kickabout in the garden as Cisse cooked a barbecue at his home in Ponteland, Northumberland.
The star fielded questions from the fans and their parents, explaining why he put on the event.
I’ve liked it here from day one. I feel very much at home,' he told the Chronicle.
'I like the area and the supporters and the city. For me now it is all about making them happy.
'I wanted to spend more time with my fans. They are very important to me. I have missed them over the summer so I wanted to see them again at the start of the season.
'It is a gift for them at the start of the season.'
Cisse is renowned locally for holding these types of events as he handed each child a signed shirt, with a few of them fans he has kept in touch with since his arrival on Tyneside in 2012.
The striker let the youngsters have the free run of his luxury home, which includes a pool table - with his name emblazoned across it - and a giant screen to play EA Sports' FIFA 14.
The striker also gave the youngsters some shooting tips as they played football in his garden.
Cisse caused controversy at Newcastle over the summer over the club's sponsor Wonga, but has since resolved the matter and has led the line for Alan Pardew's men this season, although he has yet to find the net.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
Craiova
Sorry for the OFF-Topic:
U Craiova Anthem
Some of the best Romanian players in the history played for U Craiova in the past; I am sure that some of the older users of Goal Legacy heard about Universitatea Craiova (they played a lot of games in European Competitions), one of our best teams in the 70s and 80s. Ilie Balaci, Adrian Bumbescu, Gheorghe Popescu, Costica Stefanescu, Victor Piturca etc. played for Craiova.
CBarca Steaua qualified in the UCL group stages. Romanian teams qualifying in UCL since 2006.
Seriously now, you are not from Romania CBarca .
On-Topic: On Sunday Man U meets Liverpool. I have a feeling that red cards will be shown.
