Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013 Pt.III
i think we would take 50m for Luis Suárez as he out England, as Suárez burn to many bridges at the clubRedOranje wrote:Well, the entire Suarez-to-Madrid rumour is built around reports that Benzema could be on his way out for more htan £40m. Add to that the money from potential sales of di Maria, Coentrao, and Ozil (one suggested by Madrid fans, guess Bale and Isco would push him out of the XI?) and it's theoretically possible that Madrid could raise enough money to put in a legitimate bid for Suarez. That said, I can't see those moves materializing, nor can I see Liverpool accepting a £50m offer. I think it would take something in the (rumoured) Bale range to tempt us and that just seems unbelievable, even for Madrid. Much more likely that they'll put in an Arsenal-esque £30-45m and hope that Suarez will force a move.Art Morte wrote:Surely even Real Madrid have to sell before spending another £50m+ after the Bale, Isco and Illarramendi deals, no? That's something like £150m spent already. Their sales so far are about £50m. Although I suppose Coentrao might bring in some cash and we'll see what happens with Di Maria, Benzema and Modric, but still... It would get a little insane if they raided the Premier League off of Bale and Suarez in the same summer.

Edit: Setting aside the "Why would they come" & "Can't afford salaries part"

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013 Pt.III
I'm not a fan of di Maria, to be honest; and I'm not sure Ozil has the work rate or stamina needed to perform the role Rodgers would ask of him in the PL. Then again, I wasn't sure Coutinho would adapt well to the role either and look at his performances since joining...

Instead of Özil I would love to have Kaka in our team, özil will be reluctant to come to us and also I am not sure how much the original Kaka is still left in him but i think he can directly provide more goals as he used to for Milan

The Daily Express reports that Liverpool are preparing a bid for Serbian teenager Richairo Zivkovic. The 16-year-old, who has been dubbed the new Arjen Robben for his silky skills, holds joint Dutch nationality and caught lots of attention in December last season when he became the youngest player ever to turn out for Eredivisie side Groningen, at the age of 16.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013 Pt.III
so Mr Rodgers you like to play 4-3-3
yep that right
so why don't you play with Lucas deep & Gerrard rotation
that bit to hard to think how that going to work
Henderson is a good box-to-box midfielder & Allen ok in that role why dont we see it more ??
you make me mad
don't you think we need some on right like Coutinho
did not think about that, emmmmmmmmmmmmm
so Mr Rodgers have got any more to say
i love woman
& they got have some thing about them

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013 Pt.III
This was a rumor summary on ITV page. The other teams breaking records & us dubbing Robben!!Gareth Bale's expected arrival at Real Madrid today is set to send the transfer merry-go-round into overdrive.
Spurs looked to have already splashed some of the £93m from Bale's transfer on Brazilian Willian - but Roman Abramovich has phoned his pal Suleyman Kerimov at Anzhi in an attempt to hijack the bid and bring the forward to Chelsea (Mirror) Daniel Levy could potentially cancel Gareth Bale's transfer if that were to happen (Mail)
Away from the Willian/ Bale saga - Spurs looked to have also sealed a double swoop for Roma's Erik Lamela and Miralem Pjanic (Independent)
Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal with Dutch club Groningen for Richairo Zivkovic - a 16-year-old wonderkid dubbed 'the new Arjen Robben' (Express)
Manchester United are desperate to land a playmaker in this transfer window and have made an approach for Chelsea's Juan Mata (ESPN)
Finally, Arsenal have become a laughing stock in Valencia after they bid €4m for Spanish goalkeeper Vicente Guaita - the Spanish club 'didn't even consider it an offer' (Marca)

Got from TWATTER:
Here are Five facts about a player Liverpool have been linked with called Richairo Zivkovic he has also been dubbed 'the new Robben'
1) Zivkovic is only 16-years-old but has already made his professional debut, doing so last December.
2) He plays for Robben's former side Groningen, breaking his record as the first to score for the Eredivisie club.
3) He has played three Eredivisie games this season, scoring two goals, against NEC and Utrecht.
4) Zivkovic has dual nationality, and is eligible to play for either Serbia or Holland. He is presently leaning towards the former, featuring for Serbia's under-19 side.
5) He is the fourth youngest player in the whole history of the Dutch league, the youngest ever being 15-year-old Wim Kras, a record which dates back to 1959.

Jokes apart I think we can seriously look into Chelsea for some loan or permanent moves . . . too many players in their squad to seat idle. .
