Also it's worth saying that hardly anyone showed any interest in the Bryan vs Orton match when announced earlier.

WWE should pack their feud up really.

There are few theories going around with Cena.

One is that he isn't actually returning and Vickie was just trolling ADR and Rey Mysterio instead will turn up.

Second is that Cena will turn up but ADR will use his shitty break an arm move on his injured arm after Cena wins the WHC so Sandow can easily cash in. After this, Cena will finish his rehab while Sandow can start a rivalry with some other scrub. Cena will then return at the RR.

Third is that Cena is coming back for real. He will win the WHC and then wrestle Orton/Punk at the WM for a unification of both the titles.

I am not sure which one seems more legit. But Apparently Battleground had one of the worst buy rates in a long time and RAW ratings are dropping with every week as people are not tuning in for Bryan or Orton. No surprise there since i have always said Bryan doesn't have what it takes to be the face of the company.

It turns out that John Cena wasn't hurt as much as doctors originally expected. When doctors examined him, they found only a partial tear triceps. This was known when WWE announced Cena's original recovery time.

There was talk of Cena still staying out of action until January but with WWE's thin roster, the decision was made to bring him back. WWE officials knew Cena would be returning 4 or 5 days ago but didn't decide on the match against Alberto Del Rio until this past weekend.

As of Monday, the plan is for Cena vs. Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title to be a regular singles match, not a Hell In a Cell match.

Not that I want Cena as the unified champ but if that's that it takes to unify the titles then *bleep* it, might aswell.

Need unification until more interesting superstars come back/debut.

Bryan's not gonna become the top face in a few months. It took Cena years to become the top face. Bryan's still kinda the underdog. Soon he'll become a proper main eventer just like CM Punk did 2 years ago.

As long as Cena's around, no one will be the top face. If Bryan is consistent then he'll have a chance of becoming the top face when Cena turns heel or when his popularity decreases.

Thing is Bryan 'being the face' won't be a forced thing. If he's good enough, he'll naturally become the face, just like Cena did. It's not meant to be a forced thing.

There's no official title of being 'the face'. It just comes with popularity and being pushed.

He will have to go through a massive gimmick change to be the main guy. The Yes Yes Yes chants are getting annoying pretty fast. It's like a kid thing. Plus his promos are always the same and he has nothing new to talk about.

I am not really sure if he has the "it" factor.

The yes chants are catchy and the casual audience (kids etc) can chant along. It's one of the main things that got Bryan over. Cena's main audience is kids too.

Right now it's his main thing. However once he's established he might add different things to his gimmick and tone down the yes chants.

In terms of him having nothing new to talk about, that's the writers fault. The storyline hasn't really been the best.

Sandow losing matches for fun. Lost to Santino and now to Ziggler who used the fameasser, which isn't really his finisher. Not sure why WWE make MITB holders weak before they cash in.

Now when he does cash in he'll be a generic cowardly heel who will do whatever it takes to win.

Sandow should get a proper push instead of Axel. He's got a decent gimmick and he's good on the mic.

Hopefully Cesaro isn't pushed because of his swinging move.

Also Rhodes needs a gimmick too before he's pushed.

WWE will be turning Damien Sandow babyface soon. It was discussed earlier this year to have Sandow cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase but lose.

That idea appears to be off the table now and it looks like a World Heavyweight Title run is in his future.

Sandow was reportedly told not to do cartwheels and singing any more, in part because that's the gimmick for NXT's Aiden English now.

Word is that Vince McMahon feels if someone on the main roster is doing the same gimmick as someone in NXT, it makes the main roster guy look like an amateur.

WWE don't edit the Goldberg chants out for Ryback on Smackdown. Plus they've been promoting Goldberg recently with dvd's etc.

Also:

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that few members of the WWE creative team are coming up with ideas and plans for a potential match between Goldberg and Ryback for WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans.

It is far from being a done deal, but it is a possibility since neither side has closed the door on a return.
