Nonexistent, insomuch as odds ever are. Carragher retired and Reina left. Those were our two defensive leaders. Agger will be expected to step into that void and fill their role(s) in organizing the backline, even more so after he was given the vice-captaincy. He's happy at Liverpool (publicly stated) and the club have him on a long-term contract.

Except none of these are concrete details that would prevent Arsenal from buying Ginter. Loads of examples that can bypass examples such as these.
