Bent is our back up plan if Remy and Gomis go to the shitter.
We want Gomis and Remy primarily.

Di Marzio wrote:Another no. The soap opera to bring Keisuke Honda to Milan continues. The Japanese player only wants Milan, who are waiting until the deadline to submit the list of players for Champions League. The president of the Russian club spoke to Galliani on the phone, he emphasized once again that the club wants to keep him since there is an important match against Rubin Kazan on August 4th. Therefore, at least for today, it’s a sporting issue and not a financial one. The soap opera continues.

Ronaldo apparently rejected 3 offers, according to ABC. From PSG, Monaco and Man City.
PSG offered him €22m a year, Monaco €18m and Man City wanted to sign him in 2015 for free and would give €18m a year.

With Liverpool going for Papadopolous, who shouldn't be too difficult to pry from Schalke as they have plenty of CBs, can anyone tell me what the chances are of Liverpool selling Agger to Barca?

I very, very much doubt Agger would leave, even for Barca. He loves Liverpool and is now VC

0% Agger is the only starting caliber CB on the team atm. Papa will partner him, he's by no means a replacement. Agger is perceived as a god amongst the scousers, the fans will boycott Henry's a$$ if he moved Agger against his will. Plus he's being promoted to Vice Captain this year with Carra retired Last season he signed a long term contract, got YNWA tattooed on his knuckles and we rejected a £27m(roughly €31m) offer from City. I don't think Barca have that kind of money to start with.

Lewandowski feels 'cheated' by Dortmund
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/8848917/robert-lewandowski-says-he-feels-cheated-by-current-club-borussia-dortmund
If someone says something, he should keep his word. I'm not saying it's only about the transfer, but other things we have discussed with management and that has not materialised.
"It turns out that words spoken straight into my eyes were untrue. No matter how hard I will train and what I will do, the feeling that I've been cheated will still be there.
"Maybe that word is too much, so for now I will say I'm disappointed."

Nonexistent, insomuch as odds ever are. Carragher retired and Reina left. Those were our two defensive leaders. Agger will be expected to step into that void and fill their role(s) in organizing the backline, even more so after he was given the vice-captaincy. He's happy at Liverpool (publicly stated) and the club have him on a long-term contract.

I read today in a German print paper that Heldt denies there have been any inquiries for Kyriakos Papadopoulus and that Schalke plans with Papa for the season.Albiceleste wrote:With Liverpool going for Papadopolous, who shouldn't be too difficult to pry from Schalke as they have plenty of CBs, can anyone tell me what the chances are of Liverpool selling Agger to Barca?
Matthias Ginter himself stated in the Frankfurter Rundschau that he wants to play for the BVB in the future. Moreover, according to some manager of SC Freiburg they don't want to sell all of their important players this season and they decided to make a sale stop so that they can stay a least somewhat competitive for the season.RealGunner wrote:Arsenal are in for Mathias Ginter and Serdar Tasci.
Please be true. Ginter would be fantastic. Great talent. Tasci will be a solid back up as well if not a starter if he regains his form.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IX
A problem between Valencia and Roberto Soldado's agents is now the only issue holding up his move to Tottenham.
The Spanish club's president has reached agreement with Tottenham over the transfer, which suggests Spurs have agreed to meet Soldado's buyout clause of £26m.
Amadeo Salvo said last week he would not sell the striker for a penny less than a fee which would represent a club record for the Londoners.
And, speaking to local media on Wednesday, Salvo said: "The deal with Tottenham has been completed."
All that now apparently stands in the way of the move is a dispute with the Spain international's representatives.
Salvo said: "A problem with Soldado's agents has come up and the player will not leave the club until a solution has been found."

Steve Nash has urged Tottenham not to sell Gareth Bale, insisting the club will struggle to succeed in the Welshman's absence.
The NBA star, and life-long Spurs supporter is keen for the winger to remain at White Hart Lane amid interest from Real Madrid as he doubts his potential void can be filled.
Why is this guy getting headlines all of a sudden
Spurs to fight it out with Inter for his signature?

he said this in a news interview with Fox Soccer after his Inter Milan practice, which he said was a honorary tryout nothing serious, that is why GOAL is running with it as an EXCLUSIVE

Except none of these are concrete details that would prevent Arsenal from buying Ginter. Loads of examples that can bypass examples such as these.
