Is Neymar the most overrated young player ever?

Is he the most overrated young player ever? I mean, other players ha e been rated higher than him at that age, but all that I can remember were proven in Europe. And rarely were they compared to the elite players of all time like Neymar is compared with Messi.

I'm not trying to troll or stir sh*t up. Just asking a question.

No that would be Gareth Bale closely run by Freddy Adu.

Not 2 months ago people here were calling him underrated. So I find this unlikely.

Uh. Lets see. Quite a lot of people on this forum do. Pele does, as well as quite a few other big names in the footballing world. Plenty of publications do.

I think its perfectly fine to rate him as a top player even if he has never played in europe.He was the best player in SA for years and has been one of the best international performers,the guy already has 24 goals for NT and he is only 21.not to mention him raping Spain

No, that would imply Nerman isn't that good. He is a pretty damn good player. I think he might be a tad overrated but you're making him sound average.

Only Ronaldo has scored more for Brazil at the same age.

I'm also pretty certain Neymar has created a shit tonne more than he did.

Yeah he was good in the confederations cup. I can't be bothered looking it up but I'm sure he his international record is built mostly on friendlies, and he was a complete disaster in the copa america

Disconnect it. Anyways I honestly haven't seen too many people call us a shoe in for everything, especially for just one player. Everyone knows after last season's CL slaughter we have a few things to prove and areas in which to improve. Add a new coach and there's no telling what can happen, good or bad. It's gonna be exciting.
