Had a decent Euro 2012. That's about it.

Roma had complete scrubs in defense in the past few years or so, so considering that ,its a big improvement on what they had provided they get Rami as well.
Defense is their biggest problem.One more international quality CB would certainly help.Midfield looks great though now that De Rossi is staying.
If they cant get anyone better than Osvaldo ,then they might as well keep him.Nani as a LW option would've been amazing for them but unfortunately he's being a d*ck with his wage demands.

I'm not a big fan of Rami. And pretty stupid of Roma to loan Jose Angel for a second season running. He's arguably better than all of their other fullbacks.

Damiao's agent : At the moment its difficult to see his arrival in Napoli."Too many osbtacles".

Where is J.Cesar heading?

Rami is no longer good imo. He makes a ton of mistakes... really regressed.

Maybe a change of scenery saves him.

From that €35m , €31.4m is going to Roma, €4.5m to Marquinhos' former club.

And Strootman deal amounts to €16.5m + €3.5m in bonuses.

Maicon has been pretty bad for a while, but he could be ok going back to Serie A and getting himself prepared.

Wonder if they'll manage to get Cesar.

They arent playing in Europe.They could do with him for 1 year as a stopgap option i guess.

Can someone explain to me why Benitez is paying so much for such average players? Also none of the players he has brought so far have a hint of technique in them... he is destroying Mazzari's good work and replacing them with a boring and uninspired team.

Well, i think Roma should shoot for a CL spot. Maicon is not the solution. Might as well gamble on a kid imo.

And we are. Napoli arent the same without Cavani and I dont belive in Inter or Viola. So theres only Milan and Juve.

Maicon could work out. Atleast some experience. Our gamble in defence is Jedvaj.

On the other hand he could still get rejuvenated there and he knows the league very well.I remember a 33 year old Cassetti who was doing very good for Roma when they nearly won the Scudetto in 2010.

Both Maicon and De Sanctis are temporary stopgap solutions cos they dont have money to spend on all their weakness areas.Maybe they might look for someone better in 14-15.

Dries Mertens has no technique? OK then.

Apparently there are 2-3 'obstacles' in regards to the Damiao deal :

-One with the image rights.
-The other is the issue with installments.Napoli want to pay the fee in 5 installments while Internacional want it to be payed in a lesser time.
-And third,it seems like Napoli is asking Damiao to drop his agent most probably because he is asking more money.

Buying Damiao is probably the most diffucult thing a club can try to do.
