Giaccherini to fund Diamanti deal?

Juventus will reportedly turn their attention to Alessandro Diamanti, if Emanuele Giaccherini completes a deal to Sunderland.

The latter is reported this week by the Gazzetta dello Sport as on the verge of agreeing to a move out to the Premier League for a fee believed to be upwards of €8m.

The same publication suggests that director general Beppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici are keen to pull in as close to €10m as they can from the deal, in an attempt to reinvest it in Bologna’s Diamanti.

The Felsinei are reportedly asking for €10m for their talisman, who has been linked on and off with a move to Turin for the past two years and who is seen as a particular request of Coach Antonio Conte’s.
