Juventus eye Diamanti – Gazzetta

The Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Bologna’s Alessandro Diamanti could be of interest to Juventus.

The 29-year-old Italian international may move on to bigger things at the end of the season after another fine campaign at the Dall’Ara.

Inter have been paired in recent weeks, but the Gazzetta is today claiming that the Old Lady could well be keen.

Diamanti’s versatility is said to be a key factor in why director general Beppe Marotta is pondering his swoop.

Juventus would be looking to do a player plus cash deal for the former Brescia and West Ham man.

He's too greedy for us but he has some explosive talent no doubt.

apparently marotta is very keen on this deal. guys this just gives people reality checks to see where juventus stand in the transfer market and the wealth of italian football clubs today. to people thinking we can get players like jovetic and suarez we are afew years away from that. if it was me in charge i would go into slight debt to get the big stars and i think we could actualy sign them. but it appears marotta and the board wanna clear the debt first and profit as a club rather then sign big players and take risks its the honest truth .

Diamanti is one of those players that I'm really dissapointed that he's only just starting to make it big, this guy will be 30 in a few months. If this sort of talent was seen on someone 10 years younger the world would be in awe of him. If he can keep up the way he is now for another 3-4 years then in my opinion he will surely have a place in this Juve team.

Diamanti is good but obly slight better than out current strikers so why bother
