Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.VI - Page 42 Empty Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.VI

Post by S Thu Jul 11, 2013 7:12 pm

Taken Jedvaj and close Strootman, Roma does not stop. Now the goal is Gervinho, Ivorian playmaker Arsenal. The Giallorossi have made a first offer, refused, from 2.5000000 to 3,000,000 euro. The English club asks 8,000,000, and Rome in the next few hours it is ready to relaunch with a new offering that can approach, even with the bonus, at the request of Arsenal.

Dude... it was the audited figures that you need to present to the FFP before the season.  It can't be wrong.  Here's the monthly wage per player:  http://www.actusports.fr/39772/le-salaire-des-joueurs-du-psg/

Only Silva and Ibra made more than 5 mil per year.  Lavezzi made just about 5.   Nobody else even reached 4.  Pastore only makes 2.9 mil.

Hmmmmm

What about this then

We are down to the final details for Kevin Strootman's transfer to Rome. Last night there were some communications between the two parties, and now they are settling details on the bonuses tied to the midfielder's performance, up next the medical exam and the signatures on the contract. PSV Eindhoven will receive 18 million, the player will receive 2.2 million annually.
- Di Marzio

18m for Strootman...

Do you guys think its a little overpriced or Roma have paid a fair price ? (considering the market)

Is it done then? if so i think they have overpaid a little i would consider a fair price around 15m but considering market inflation he could easily prove himself to be "cheap".

I have to wonder if Roma sell any midfielders though, would be quite hard to keep them all happy.

i trust the french LfP a lot more since they actually include the gross monthly wages of all the players...  so you can easily tally it up.  Some players got sold or were loaned out too, so the total is actually a bit inflated.

Not sure what Swiss Ramble is referrng to specifically since it's just a number with no detail. Maybe their figure includes the annual amortized transfer fees? That's all i can think of. Youth academies won't amount to that much. They do have women's footy too and several other sports... so maybe that too.

But as far as first team wages, this is it and it's pretty clear.

I don't know anything about Wallace but Torosidis is definitely better than Maicon these days.

Also think they need to be improving on Osvaldo and isn't Castan in the plans?

I dont know. They bought that Balkan guy today(Jedvaj) and might be bringing in Benatia too.I havent watched much of Roma ,maybe they dont deem him to be good enough.

Garcia actually wanted Nani initially but i think they might've been put off by his wage demands so Gervinho must probably be their fallback option.Actually Lamela-Nani on the wings would've been something.

Regarding Osvaldo,i heard some rumors that Zenit are preparing a 20m bid for him.If such a good offer comes for him then i think they'll surely sell him.

Apparently negotiations between PSG and Roma have started for Marquinhos who value the defender at 30m-Di Marzio.

.......................................................................

The future of Mauricio Isla is not yet defined. The meeting scheduled for today between Inter Milan and Juventus has been postponed, but by the entourage of the player contacts continued. The two companies, however, are too stiff, Juventus and Inter asks 7.5 million offers 6. There is still optimism but Inter looks around and name alternative is to Montoya of FC Barcelona, a name already assessed in January.

I think it's well known by now that Illarra and Madrid had a verbal agreement, and all looked done until La Real started demanding more money. Only thing keeping this deal from happening is becouse the Sociedad president had to give in to the pressure and not let Illarra go so easy...

I know but there is still pressure on Illara to stay now that La real is demanding more money. Fans would have been fine if the clubs had agreed on a price(even 30m), but now that they are trying to stiff RM I think Illara will have to force a move.

€40m does seem a bit excessive and it would be enough to buy any top DM. However it looks like Illarramendi does have a lot of potential, so it should be a good long term signing.

I still think Illarra is set on leaving judging by how discreet he was in the training camp today. Also he wasn't there when they were showing the new kits.

Remains to be seen but I'm sure he won't say no if both sides agree on a deal. I'm still hopeful this deal will happen but Sociedad are really making it tough.
