Simone Perrotta retires
It was probably to be expected, but it doesn't make me any less gutted. Wonderful player for us over the last 6 or 7 years and has really been a reference point in the locker rooms for both Italy and Roma. I will no doubt miss his energy and industry as well as his intelligence off the ball.
Grazie e Grande Simone

Re: Simone Perrotta retires
Very gutted, one of my favourite players and one of the footballers that I respect the most.
I have no idea how many times I must have yelled at him through my tv, shouting at him for not finishing so many chances. But I guess that's what made me love the guy, since he was an integral part of a team that was so beautiful to watch. His intelligence, his perseverance and his heart is matched by few, making this a very big loss for us.
Grazie Simo!

Sad, but expected. The silver era of roma (2005-2010) is pretty much over.. only Totti and De Rossi remain. Taddei is leaving probably too.
