Fantastic move from Milan, can't help but admire their project currently. The best part is that they are signing a lot of younger Italian talent
But that wont win them much in the immediate future.I dont see how its 'admirable' especially when we're talking about a big club. You are starting to sound like Sciacca suddenly.
I think when they lost the league with Thiago and Ibrahimovic and then sold them the following summer it was a clear indication that they are moving in a different direction. Not to mention they may not have the financial capabilities to sign a bunch of players, but signing young talented players (Italian or not), is an approach I admire.
Poli will certainly help in the immediate future, he should be an instant starter. Tell me that SES didn't impact the immediate future, or MDS hasn't already had an impact. Or that Balotelli doesn't have an impact on Milan. Wait, they were all protagonists on an a Milan team heading to the Champions League.
They're not competing with Juventus without a massive injection of cash and that's clear.
And if by Sciacca you mean I enjoy the fact that there are a lot of Italians playing at a top club like Ac Milan? Absolutely.
Look i dont care about your feelings towards Milan and such but what i meant is there is nothing really 'respectable' or 'admirable' about their so called project when it wont pay dividends in the immediate future. In the mind of a FIFA/FM addict ? maybe but realistically ,no.We are talking about a big club and naturally they'd want results, young players dont always guarantee that.
We saw Roma 2 years ago sign a bunch of young players and everyone were fapping over them ? Could you please remind me how it turned out ?
We'll have to wait and see how it goes. The point here is about winning ,not stacking a team with Italian youngsters and drool over it.And something tells me you want Juventus to follow the same approach.Correct me if am wrong ?

You're wrong on all accounts.
I could care less if it pays off right now or never, I just like the idea of younger Italian players being groomed at a top club- whether it works out or not is another story. The point here is about transfers, not winning, the only point I was making is I like the moves Milan has been making.
And no, the time for Juventus to follow this approach was during relegation and their return, that didn't happen and they are currently in a much different, greater position. So, no. Although I wouldn't be against signing players like Verratti, Insigne, Poli, Ogbonna etc. because it's a dual threat

And since you cleared this up,i only made the Sciacca mention cos i heard he switched to supporting Milan cos they signed a bunch of Serie B/Italian talents
The idea ofcourse sounds good but with that comes a considerable amount of risk and a club like Milan have to be careful cos every young player they sign won turn into gold.We have to see how SES and MDS perform after their breakthroughs as well how other talents they have signed will fare.
Ofcourse for a guy like you who wants Italians to do well ,the moves they are making in the market does look good you and you said you 'admire their project' and this is why i felt the need to bring this debate up cos we cant say for sure that its going to be a success ? right ? .As of now this is based on assumptions and what we've seen from Milan in the past year when it comes to grooming talents and we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Juve fans are the biggest hypocrites on here.
Slagging off and trolling Milan fans for signing a solid young player and moving away from their 30 or older policy but if you dare criticize Buffon or any of their other players.....

Hypocrisy doesn't make a point invalid but generalizations definitely destroy your credibility
In any case, you guys are right- not the right place for this

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.V
Fiorentina and Bayern Munich are at loggerheads over the sale of Mario Gomez, with the Bundesliga club holding out for €20m.
The striker’s agent claimed on Wednesday that the Germany international was on the verge of joining Vincenzo Montella’s men.
But Corriere dello Sport have claimed this morning that Pep Guardiola’s side don’t want to sell the 27-year-old for anything less than €20m.
However, the Viola are only willing to splash out between €15m-€18m for the goalscorer.
