I understand Bale stands in those lines where he may become an elite one. But offering such rediculous money (or that offer of players) for him right now doesnt sound sensible. Let Bale play one more season in europe and EPL, then we will see if he is worth of whatever we are hearing now.

Higuain's a better finisher imo. Although he does mess up in the big games, he's proven over the past 6 years he's a good finisher.

What Bale did for Spurs last season, Higuain pretty much did the same in the 08-09 season. Pretty much carried Real Madrid.

Bale's probably a better dribbler than Ronaldo currently.

I just think Bale's overrated currently. He's had 1 season where he's been at this level yet Real Madrid are prepared to pay 100m for him. That's more than what was paid for Ronaldo, who had proven himself for 3 seasons and won the Ballon d'Or prior to Real Madrid buying him.

They were hoping one of these oil clubs make a 30m offer and price him away from us.

But it doesnt seem to be the case.If it stays that way,he will be a Juve player in the end.Especially since the player himself is very keen on moving to Juventus.

Thing is Viola are in hurry to sell Jovetic and Gomez's representatives in turn want to complete the move to Fiorentina to be done quickly.
So their only hope was to get a big money offer from somewhere and ASAP which hasnt been the case so this is all playing into Juventus' hands basically as in the end they would be forced to accept our cash + player(s) offer as they have little choice in their hands.

Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis is keen to sort out his future in the next few days and expects to be on the move this summer.

The French club have previously indicated that they would be prepared to let Gomis leave, although Shakhtar Donetsk have dropped their interest after initially appearing to be favourites.

Swansea City and Cardiff City have also been linked with moves to bring the 27-year-old to the Premier League, while Fiorentina are the latest club to reportedly enter the race.

It is rumoured that Fiorentina have made an offer and are on the verge of agreeing a deal with Lyon's president.

Gomis said: "I will very soon be in Lyon to sort out my future.

"Lyon does not want to keep me but I will find a new home like I did when I left St Etienne."

According to transfermarkt.de, this offer was confirmed by supervisory board chairman Clemens Tönnies at the annual general meeting of the Schalke board on Saturday.
