Sounds like I'm complaining all the time but the game had potential to be a 11/10 and it's barely an 8 so far IMO which I find disappointing. The groundwork is all there but the execution is lacking. Really hoping for a strong ending to bump it up though.

This is a big thing. The basically scrapped everything but the setting/character design, swapped directors and turned it into FFXV in 2013. No doubt the current team were rushed to finish it.

In all their recent games they release a later version like 2-3 years later with more stuff (cutscenes, gameplay, optional bosses, etc.) and call it "international", "final mix", etc. But those rarely get released on the west. Now with them embracing DLC we'll get all the updates as interest remains.

I like fighting the hunts in Altissia. A good break from Duscae/Cleigne.

did my first post game quest ffs, was unreal and hard as f. Can see myself spamming summons for these lol. I finished the game at level 58 I think. Was definitely a bit over leveled since nothing posed a threat.

btw the fight at the end of that quest takes like 2 hrs MINIMUM with all the top gear in the game, I'm going to drop the difficulty down to easy for that fight because I want thr trophy and imagine dying 90 mins into it

that said beat the game on normal and didn't have a single game over (although I would have if I didn't run from like 10 coerculs when I was like 20

nah, I think you're fine to complete it, it's actually a boss linked to the quest I think but you get it from a hunt.

Yeah just talked to the NPCs and realized its the Adamantoise (big tortoise from past games). Thats a long ass fight. It just has an unreal amount of HP.

Please tell me there is a Ruby/Emerald weapon in this game too

Doubt it, ruby and emerald weapon only appeared in VII. This will have its own set of super bosses.

Adamantoise is absolutely epic. Just checked it out, by far the biggest boss so far in FF. I warped to hit its tusks and almost died from the fall... Used Ramuh and barely made a scratch. Then I did what I was supposed to do and ran away.

I think Nemesis (FFX) is my favorite superboss so far. They are all good though, Ozma (IX) was awesome.

I'm only disappointed because the developers said a while back that we would be able to explore it fully and I thought it would have as many quests as Lestallum but there was only a few things to do, aesthetically it was really great and I liked the stuff that took place there a lot though

costlemark dungeon (hardest regular dungeon in the game), good luck lads, just spent 2 hrs doing it, can't say it was enjoyable compared to other dungeons but it was insane due to the amount of enemies and bs fights. boss fight there is cool though.

I can do the locked door dungeons now too, heard they are ridiculous, I need to gain levels before doing those lol.
