Everyone thought that because after the final, Jese went to collect an individual award, which most thought was the best player of the tournament. But it turned out to be the top scorer of the tournament award. Deulofeu was voted Golden player a week or so after the tournament.

And as you can see at the official Uefa.com Golden player homepage, its Deulofeu who won the award..

Comparing apples and oranges. It's like comparing Bale to Mata... one is a wing striker while the other is more of a creator. Completely different makeups.

Who is better? We won't know for another 2-3 years. Both have loads of talent.

Aren't we talking about who as the better potential or more chances to make it either at Barca or Real ?

i don't have the chance to follow them so i'd like to hear everyone's opinion.

Even if Jese is the GOAT Real fans predict him to become he won't even get a chance at their club and most likely will go onto be a success story elsewhere like Eto'o or Mata.

From the little I have seen from Jesé, and it has only been when he has played with Spain, he is more of killer while Deulofeu has more individual talent..

Jese's football IQ is higher than Deulofeu's. He is way better off the ball, better passer and vision, maybe a bit worse at dribbling, but not sure.

Yh Jese has changed his game to increase productivity. He is not your type of player who would play a long range pass after spotting a run, Deulofeu is that on the other hand. Maybe its because that would be the only way he will get promoted if he can show he can score at will like Ronaldo or because Castilla have lacked a goalscorer this season so he stepped up. Regardless they seem to complement eachother and are good friends.

I agree that Jesé has a higher football IQ, but im not that certain that he has better off the ball movement or atleast not by a big margin. And it's fairly obvious that Deulofeu is a better dribbler..

From what i saw yesterday id be surprised if Jese's movement is better than deulo (seriously fck his name)

His movement is outstanding very pedro like before he went to shit....but hes a much more skilled than pedro and obviously a lot faster.

i believe jese is better but this comparison is a fail, deu he has been injured plus he is playing with the likes of lukaku and is in a new league while jese is playing with ronaldo, modric etc. hardly comparable situations.

From what I've seen so far Jese>>>>

Delu has a lot of talent, maybe even more but his decision making is in need of some massive improvement. Jese is much more mature and closer to being a finished product.

I sooooooooo forgot about this thread. Who would have thought that Jese would actually be a starter for Madrid (other than Crimson, of course)?! And Deu has actually been good for Everton when he plays. Only real, tangible difference I can see (with my amateur scouting abilities) is that Jese has a far, FAR better work ethic than Deu.

As usual, Spain keeps producing fine wide players...
