How... ?
How do we accomodate both Rafinha and Deulofeu next season?
Seems like they would both be competing for the same positions but wouldn't get many minutes. What do you guys think?

If anything I can see us loaning both again, but if it was me probably keep Rafinha and loan Deulo. Rafinha competition will be Iniesta/Cesc, were as Deulo will have to face Neymar/Messi/Sanchez/Pedro/Tello, if we want to keep Deulo we need to get rid of at least two of the forwards, Tello is probably one of the obvious one, and then its between Sanchez/Pedro.

Re: How do we accomodate both Rafinha and Deulofeu next season?
I think we keep Deulofeu on loan at Everton one more season. Apparently the loan deal we placed with Everton was for 2 seasons but we have the right to allow him the 2nd season or recall him in the summer.
Rafinha should come back and compete in the midfield. We need midfield help and he can play multiple positions while as some mentioned Deulofeu will be competing with Alexis/Neymar/Pedro/Tello. That's just too much to compete with unless we offload some one (Cuenca, Bojan, Kerrison and Afellay will be gone obviously). Xavi has hinted he is gonna stay, but Rafinha would be a great back up to him as he has a great engine and will be great to bring him on to press his ass off and run the ball down. Jona Dos Santos is likely gone in the summer, and Suarez who has a contract that states he will be apart of our first team next season will likely get loaned or sold (probably loaned).
So our midfield will be something like this..
--------Busquets/Song
--Xavi/Rafinha-----Iniesta/Cesc/Sergi
D. Suarez loaned
Jona Dos Santos sold
Of course all this changes if we some how land a summer midfielder to rotate with Xavi (Gündoğan or some one like that). Then if we do sign some one to be rotating/replace Xavi, then I would sell Sergi and keep Rafinha to rotate with the midfield or loan him one more season at Celta. Honestly, Cesc still destrorts our midfield. Still think he is getting in the way of some one one way or another. First Thiago, now Sergi and Rafinha. We just can't have 3 world class players for 2 spots. One of the 3 is always gonna complain about playing time. Lets see though, Xavi is 34 now and might begin to accept a lesser role ala Puyol. Xavi's gonna be tired as hell next season with the World Cup this summer. Then mid next season he will be 35; right when our schedule usually gets hard. Hard to see him getting as many minutes as he is getting this season

Re: How do we accomodate both Rafinha and Deulofeu next season?
Doesn't Everton have an option to keep Deulofeu for an extra year?
if thats the case he should stay, and we should give Pedro / Sanchez another year to duke it our and see who we should sell..
ideally we should not keep both with the many youngsters we have coming through the ranks.
Tello needs to be sold, along with Cuenca / Afellay, Bojan
Rafinha if he accepts should be used like Song is currently maybe play more games, if we do not sell Song this summer then he should be loaned out again as he'll have minimal game time. (seeing as we are linked to midfielders this summer)
If we buy a new CM with a Xavi mould or close to Xavi.. then we must sell Sergi Roberto, JDS and Song.

Re: How do we accomodate both Rafinha and Deulofeu next season?
I would like to see Rafinha become a midfielder for us, he would bring different qualities than the current crop.
Deulofeu obviously will be a wing player, but I could see both staying on loan for another year.
It depends on Tello and Sergi Roberto in my head, if someone decides they dont have big futures with us then these two would be next.

Rafinha and Deulofeu will replace SergiRoberto and Tello next season.
Sergi Roberto will probably join a Liga team on loan [same as Denis Suarez].
Tello sold to an EPL team.
