Just checked, he is 5'10. He can become alot taller then that though, he's only 17

I don't see the comparison with Cruyff... his style is more similar to CR's really.

Whenever we talk about prodigies I am sadly reminded of those that didn't live up. Remember Gai Assulin. At one time some thought he would be the new Messi and then he was let go and even struggled to get a club - no idea where he is now. Then there is our dear Bojan Krkic. Samuel Eto'o had once said he would turn out to be better than Messi but now we are only left with the hope that he will be a regular starter for Barcelona some day.

Admittedly I havent seen the player much,aside from youtube clips.
But I dont think he can be the new Cruyff.
Perfection in a player cant be achieved twice.

I don't believe in players being the 'New (Insert Legend Player)'. Deulofeu is awesome, but he's not really like Cruyff at all in my opinion. Free is right, he's more like CR7.

One this is for sure, he's easily the best 17 year old player going around in the world.

New Cruyff? cuz he great dribbler, physically is somehow similiar & a Barca legend!

I hate CR7 because of his attitude (on and off the pitch), and more recently because of who he plays for. I don't hate him because of his footballing ability. If he had his ability and the personality of someone like Alonso or Casillas, there would be nothing to hate about the guy.

A player with qualities like CR7 plus a little better creativity, tiki-taka passing, and hardwork is a player I'd drool over, this is what I can see Deulofeu becoming. The problem is, Deulofeu's talent is already going a bit to his head, so he may be turning out a bit too much like Ronaldo.

agree, but let's not talk about his attitude now cuz he is still 17.. i think Guardiola can help him be a better player, this is why i wish that Guardiola can stay for more years..

Even on TV they are saying Gerard (just like Steven from Liverpool xD)

Spain already qualified for Semi-final, Deulofeu played about 60 to 70 minutes in each of the first 2 matches against Belgium (4-1) & Serbia (4-0)..

He is known to be a bit cocky, perhaps normal since he has been under the media radar since young. I don't know any undiscipline from him, other than a fotolog he had in which he posted pictures in a cocky attitude. The club made him shut the folog up. Well I was making same pictures when I was younger (and when I had six-pack xD).

I saw these pics a while ago.. the kid was 15 or 16, when he took these pics.. its very normal, he is still young, all teenagers take such photos especially when they have (six-pack) !lol

Let's wait & its early to judge his attitude now! he just turned 17, 3 month ago!

I wasnt overly impressed by Piazon or Adryan.

Yesil is very different to all 3, he is a goalscorer. I wouldnt like to compare him to a winger.

I wouldnt say easily though as Kizz said either way, but he is in the running.
