Finished the 2nd book as well. Reading A storm of swords and 15% done.

It was apparent in the 2nd season itself but Tyrion's role was really understated in it. He absolutely dominated the 2nd book. Single handedly save the Kings Landing. What he did was unreal.

Why is the Arya arc so different? Who the f is Herwin for example. Not to mention Rickon and Osha goes their own way and so does Bran/ frog eater girl and green boy ( their names escape me ffs ) unlike the tv show

The book is diverting more and more from the TV show as I progress.

So many incidents that took place in the Arya arc that weren't shown on TV. Red Viper already introduced way before the Red wedding. Think few chapters i am reading atm are actually from season 4.

Just because they happened doesn't mean they've chronologically already happened. There are a couple websites which will give you a chapter read out if you want to actually read the books in chronological order.

However, those sites also hold darkness for likes of RG and his virgin eyes :coffee:

Beyond the red wedding now. Officially ahead of the TV Show.

Must say that Red Wedding was better on the TV. Maybe I was just expecting it.

I want to stop reading but I can't

Don't stop. Trust me.

And yeah the Red Wedding was worse for you because you knew it. Imagine not knowing about that and reading it. It tore me up.

Also not sure who said it in here, i think Bhends/Free cat, but i actually enjoyed Catalyn's chapters. She knew all the way through the journey something was wrong with all this. She wanted Grey Wind to be with Rob all the time

What really annoys me are the Sansa chapters.
