Not even that.... Gamescon was a 70% build and that build is much better than the E3 build and the behind the scenes build shown to media etc ect is 90% which fixed pretty much all the problems people had.

Basically EA have been buying out licenses and locking PES out there's not much they can do about it tbh.

Also, forget what I said about downloading the demo online; apparently, it only works with hacked consoles.

This issue however is not something technical, it actually due to licencing. EA have been extremely aggressive with signing deals with clubs and leagues this year, and it has meant we can't implement major European stadiums, including NO Spanish stadiums. People were getting worried when they announced exclusive deals with Spanish teams. Well it turned out it meant we couldn't implement their stadium, amongst others.

The only way I can see PES survive as a franchise is to give even more tools to modders otherwise it'll be dead in less than a decade. Which is why I don't understand why they removed the Stadium Editor.

If things are removed from edit mode because of licensing each year, it would rip out the soul of PES, and we must not let that happen.

It doesn't make any sense to me. What has edit mode got to do with licensing?

We are going to try further this year to get the [rain] elements sorted and have them implemented for 2015.

Brah 2014 is coming out in a few weeks.... 2015 is the next version that will come out this time next year.

If anyone here has the demo, can you create another PSN account, and then PM me its details (if you trust me) so that I can download it on my console?

I mean i think its good considering how old the code but it clearly shows why its such an old code at times.

Personally i would wait till the proper demo on the 11th and get the final product experience.

But if you can't wait that long then sure i'll PM you my details when i get back from the gym tomorrow ( going to bed soon)

AI is still meh.

PES was never that good. Even at its apparent 'peak' with PES6. Massive romanticism because of this 'Master League'. Never enjoyed it. Bad gameplay and terrible entertainment. Give me Fifa any day of the week.

Of course, it's hipster to get on board with this PES movement and revolution against the corrupt EA.

I have been playing computer on Superstar all week and they are dominating me

I hardly create a chance against them and they constantly have more possession.

PES 6 wasn't the peak in fact it was the beginning of the end.... so shows what you know really.

Your probably one of those people who find Fifa realistic....

Mole, I played fifa till about 2000 and then switched to PES up until PES 6(though I did have fifa 2002 & 2004).

If the graphics could look better and the squads are updated with present day players, I would take PES 6 over anything out right now.

By far the best PES I've ever played. The last good PES for IMO.

It was..... but why i say it was the beginning of the end was because it was by far the last good PES game.

It wasn't the peak though.... PES 4 and 5 were both better games.

Also another thing the reason people liked PES wasn't master league.

It was because each player you controlled were unique to their skillset and every goal you scored felt different and made for a fresh and enjoyable experience.

Especially against friends and Fifa it was and still is to some respect a game were everything felt samey.... from the players right down to the goals.

Its still the reason i play PES for all its faults, each game feels unique.

You do have a point there. I just feel PES gameplay more than made up for its lack of licenses and was the reason it was THE dominant game during the PS2 era. Now PES has gotten much worse and Fifa has gotten much better. Its no surprise they've been struggling. I'm looking forward to seeing how good it is on next gen consoles though.

Well they keep championing that gameplay is king and i agree tbh.

They need to focus on getting that right first before anything else.

Fifa will always be more popular and will always sell more, even in PES glory days it did but if they can be good enough where a decent chunk of people prefer it then job well done.

All i can say is after playing PES 2014 demo even if the code is very old its miles better than 2013 and its not even close tbh.

I go back to 2013 now and i feel like turning it off almost instantly such is the improvement, i can't stand it by comparison.

Doubt i'll ever play it again tbh unless mates want to come round and we play some games before going out.
