Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Anyways June 9th seems like the D-Day where Juve and Madrid meet again for Higuain on the eve of the friendly between Madrid legends and Juventus legends.Fingers crossed everything goes well and hope we can strike a deal with them.
Bronzetti has been working on this deal for more than a month apparently.Well thats what Di Marzio is saying.

Vucinic had 13 goals and 6 assists this year on 120 shots. Tevez had 17 goals and 10 assists on 130 shots... but keep in mind 4 goals and 2 assists came against Watford and Barnsley lol.
I watched both teams quite a bit and Vucinic was more influential to me because he's better technically. Tevez always seems a step or two slower and less energetic than i remembered him.

Utd sell Rooney to PSG, to help get more $ for Ronaldo
Real Madrid sell Ronaldo to Utd, and use that $ to get Bale
Spurs use the money they get from Real Madrid and get Villa and Daimiao

Juve can do a LOT better.
Not true, a motivated Tevez on top of his game is one of the best striker in Europe.
I agree with the PAtron

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Well Tevez must have never been motivated then as he has never been one of the best strikers in Europe.
A striker who doesn't score that many and an SS who doesn't create much can never be the best at anything.
There's a reason he can't get anywhere near the national team.
I'd take Llorente or Vucinic over Tevez any day.
Never understood the hype behind him tbh, the Ramires of CFs

Leverkusen on verge of signing Hamburg's Heung-Min Son, according to Kicker. Should also allow Andre Schürrle to leave for Chelsea now.

You've got to be kidding me. I can give you many instances of this season when he single handedly brought back Man City into the game.
If he wasn't good enough, he would've been sold right back after he had that bust up with Mancini.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Do Juventus have Tevez deal?
Sport Mediaset are claiming that Juventus have agreed personal terms with Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez.
The Argentine is one of three forwards being strongly linked with the Old Lady, alongside Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain and Stevan Jovetic of Fiorentina.
The report suggests that director general Beppe Marotta has convinced the former West Ham and Manchester United player to accept a switch to Turin.
Tevez initially wanted an annual salary of €8m, but it is understood that a compromise has been reached.
Marotta will now, apparently, conclude a deal with the Premiership side for a forward who is still only 29-years-old.
Tevez, also linked with Monaco, is available for transfer as his contract with City is set to expire in June 2014.
The South American has netted 74 goals in 148 games for his current club.
If Juve really do have a deal for Tevez then they are expected to end their pursuit for Higuain in favour of signing Jovetic.

Pathetic lol, Mancini would've won the title had he gotten these players last season.
£42m(49.2m Euros) for Fernadinho
City could buy Vidal or a number of better/younger DM/CM with that money. I really don't want him anyways.
- Spoiler:
City were interested and should have just activated Javi release clause last year
Vidal would cost silly money, he doesn't want to leave and is about to sign a contract that runs until 2018

I rate Tevez higher than what Mole does, yet here is what I don't understand.
They are buying a CF who:
-Who is 29. Fine, guys like Ibra, Llorente, Villa, aren't slowed down by age yet Tevez is massively reliant on his tenacity, pace, and fitness levels which aren't exactly guaranteed given his pathetic discipline
-Who is a ticking time bomb. We all know Tevez couldn't care less about Football which equates to him almost leaving Juventus at any given 2nd since he has more mood swings than a 14 year old pre-pubescent girl.

-Who hasn't shown much ability within Europe, you know the place where Juventus need to build for? He contributes to play very well in other areas and in big games yet is hardly prolific to say and at his age, its not like we will see a surge of improvement given his mentality.
-Can disrupt a dressing room kept on a tight leash by Conte
-Been 20 years in England (Hyperbole) and still hasn't learnt English. Hint....
-Isn't better than a 25 year old Higuain

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Why do people care so much about what other teams pay? At the end of the day they got the man they wanted unlike last season where they had to sign scrubs like Javi Garcia as backup plans or getting into a drawn out transfer saga.
At the end of the day, all that matters is his talent and he's got that in abundance. Great signing.
You'd think everyone would have learned after the Javi Martinez signing. When money isn't a major factor and you've got very few holes in your squad you sign the best option available.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Sky sources understand that Manchester City have agreed a £34m deal for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernandinho.
Fernandinho has been photographed leaving a hospital in Manchester where the club conduct their medicals and City are set to secure a deal for the Brazilian.
Manuel Pellegrini is expected to be named as City's new manager in the next few days and the club have already started to strengthen their squad after relinquishing the Premier League title.
City agreed a deal for Sevilla winger Jesus Navas earlier this week and they now appear to have landed long-term target Fernandinho.
The 28-year-old made a big impact on these shores last season when he scored Shakhtar's winner against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League group stages.
Reports suggested the Ukrainian club had inserted a buy-out clause of £42.5million for Fernandinho, who complained about his high valuation.
He has admitted his interest in joining City as he feels the switch will stengthen his chances of being selected for Brazil's World Cup squad.
"They know that the Premier League is a great championship and that Manchester City is a great club, therefore they all wish me to play there, and to participate in the division," he has said.
"I believe my chances of making the World Cup squad will improve if I join City.
"My exposure would be better, because Brazil is biased towards the Ukrainian league. What we do here is not recognised in my country."

No you can't.
He has scored 11 goals in 28 games this season, such a fantastic return for such a world class striker who single handily carried his team
Not to mention his record at CL level is simply horrific, people call Ibra and RVP CL flops then by definition Tevez is a joke.
Tevez is a myth because he works hard, he's not a good goalscorer and he's not a creative forward.... then what is he? someone who works extremely hard who we get you a goal here and there.
He has a reputation which is far above his credentials.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Gomez scores like a madman. Tevez had 4 goals and 2 assists in the first 5 games of the season... then went 13 goals and 8 assists the rest of the way and again, 4 goals and 2 assists came against Watford and Barnsley lol. So really, against decent competition, Tevez had 9 goals and 6 assists after the first 5 games of the season. He started 39 games too, so it's not a playing time thing.
The more i watched Tevez, the more i realized he was really eroding. He looked very, very rarely like the Tevez of 2010-2011.

I think we could get Tev up to scratch. But it has to be a cheap as fk transfer. And he does give us more options.
Conte loves a player who can run like mad, but who is also of a decent quality.

Tevez would be a nice fit next to Llorente, if only for the fact that he's a roamer and he's relatively good on the ball. But it's Tevez too - Juve don't need the problems.

People still think he was the player of 2010 where he had the whole team built around him.
As i said fixed opinions not allowing people to accept players decline or improve.
Once an opinion on a player is decided on here its like that for ever.
Anyway enough of this, thoughts on Yaya-Fernandinho as a partnership?

i don't think hes ready yet, especially not with the likes of mata and de bruyne, and i havent read anything of him joining chelsea but who knows. he will be a great player but id like to see him play in a bigger league first, maybe bundesliga.
