Did he absorb this spirit when he tried to break his leg?

On topic, Mourinho doesn't even want him so i doubt he's going to Chelsea
Although Monaco sounds like good destination

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
for those saying Lukaku is out at Chelsea, Mourinho has been saying he can be their new Drogba and he will see 1st team action... apparently Lukaku wants another loan though to keep getting consistent game time to be ready for the WC
and it looks like De Bruyne isn't leaving either.

Yeah but he isn't though.... it was BS made up by a shitty reporter and he had zero quotes.
Courtois said he wants to join Atleti and De Bruyne clearly doesn't want to stay either
People are delusional if they think Lukaku will stay if they sign Cavani too.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Lukaku scored too many goals to be happy with taking the scraps of whichever games Cavani doesn't play.
And He's not injury prone, has fantastic stamina and will be playing nearly every Chelsea game.
If you lot don't offload Torres, he'd be ahead of Lukaku in the bench order too.
God knows what's happening to Hoffenheim legend Ba though.

KDB never said any such thing. He said he hasn't spoken to Jose. I am sure if Jose said he'd be a starter, he'd want to stay.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Yeah because he's going to bench one of Shirley, Oscar, Mata or Hazard
Time to come back to reality, even if KDB does stay which is highly unlikely he's only delaying the inevitable he will never be a key part of Chelsea.
KDB's death sentence was signed as soon Chelsea signed Oscar and Hazard.
Lukaku isn't quite there yet but he will be if you sign Cavani.

Heard Mourinho is planning on converting Oscar into a controller ala Gundogan/Modric etc
That would open up the RW spot for De Bruyne.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
kinda agree with mole, De Bruyne would much rather stay in bundi and play all games than play competition with all chelsea's am. Oscar is already in a funny situation because i hardly see mourinho playing mata, oscar and hazard all season. mata is already sitting in his natural spot lol.
It looks awkward from the outside, how do you think De Bruyne feels? he wants to succeed as a footballer, before succeeding as a chelsea player...
@riiiiiiite, not happening. mourinho will play two muscular lads in his double pivot. surprised he hasnt asked for khedira yet

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
You can facepalm all you like but it doesn't change how true it is.
If you get Shirley as reported there is simply no room for De Bruyne.
You sign Cavani as reported do you really think Lukaku is going to sit and twiddle his thumbs for the rest of his career?
Mourinho will never use Oscar in the pivot so forget that idea.
You are letting your heart rule your head, the only youngster that has a hope in hell of becoming a permanent fixture in the Chelsea first team is Courtois and even that is highly unlikely considering his personal desires.

It was reported earlier that Lukaku already held talks with Mou over his future and he's staying. Mou convinced him but also that he has to fight and earn his starting place.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Mole, your wisdom will be lost on them fans. they are in honey moon mode where they think everything will go right and the young stars with world class talent will all rotate and reach maximum potential and give chelsea a world class team and bench etc etc etc right now they can rationalize mou signing simpson saying he has untapped potential...
reality will hit them in a few months

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Hahaha he can fight all he wants, no amount of grit in training is going to make him better than Cavani.
Fact is, young talented strikers will not sit around and hope that prime, world class strikers suddenly drop down 5 levels and let them in the squad.
If Cavani is in your team, and you play with 1 up top, there is no room for anybody.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Well I can't tell him, so I go on a football forum to share my opinions instead.
I don't think that you're making this up at all. If Lukaku is content with 'competing' with Cavani then so be it. But everybody knows that it's not really a competition.
In reality, he'd compete with the other striker on the bench. whoever that might be, for the spot when Cavani is rested/injured etc etc
