LWB solution: Coentrao?

Little puzzled why he'd be unloved at Real but if he's available this could be an awesome transfer.
Young (still 25), quick, can beat defenders, delivers a good cross, can shoot and is a decent defender, Coentrao is world class imho and the perfect solution to our LWB problem. Playing him as a wingback should give him greater license to attack than at Real and give us a more attacking option at LWB than Asa (or rather one who both can cut inside and go outside his man). Thoughts?

On the Real issues, I'm assuming he's been made a scapegoat for any defensive issues they may have on the left, given with Ronaldo's defensive 'workrate'? Plus he doesn't seem to be given as much license to attack as he had at Benfica / Portugal.
