3 Liverpool players. No injuries, hopefully.
Ince is suspended. Should've started with McEachran though.. I like that fella.
I think this is the best possible lineup.

Clyne - Wisdom - Caulker - Robinson
McEachran - Henderson - Shelvey

Thanks, must admit a lot of Germany's squad this time is largely unknown to me.

England take the lead, now they will do what England does best, sit back and defend for their lives

No, the goal was disallowed, still expect England to sneek a winner though.

Good free kick from Insigne.
England just lack technical players and the ability to play possession effectively.

Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
That wasn't unexpected at all.
Most of the pundits were calling us favourites to win the tournament since we were on a long unbeaten run, but we played nobody decent in that period. Our squad isn't bad, but when you compare it to Italy's and Spain's it's way, way short of a cup winning squad.
We're not helped, either, by having Pearce as manager still. He's stayed on since his qualifying record is unmatched, but in major tournaments he routinely disappoints with poor team selections and negative tactics. His starting eleven was set-up today to soak up pressure and maybe nick a goal with a set-piece. It's no wonder we only managed about six shots all game.
We probably would have lost even with my preferred team selection, but for me the important thing is to show signs of progression and to give experience to new players.
So I really hope Chalobah plays over Lowe against Norway, and that Ince and Zaha both come in to at least make this side more exciting to watch.

Think we both know that if they become decent players, they'll be sold/exchanged to make room for somebody who's closer to 50 than he is 20

You are so last year bro. Botta, Laxalt, Icardi and Kovacic. Their average age is 20. The maestro Rocchi no longer have a job. It's all about the youngsters now.AbraKebabra Alacalamb wrote:InterMalia wrote:Italy U21: Bardi; Donati, Bianchetti, Caldirola, Biraghi; Florenzi, Marrone, Verratti, Insigne; Borini, Immobile

De Gea; Montoya, Moreno, Bartra, I. Martínez; Illarramendi, Thiago, Isco, Tello, Muniain; y Rodrigo
Montoyo has more history with that team than Carvajal, it's normal that he starts. you shouldnt be surprised by these things by now, it's how NT football works.
