From Never Munchen to super Munchen
I can't think of a team with this much depth in my lifetime. The most complete team I have ever seen. From losers treble to potential history making season.

The age old bundles liga is weak has been proven false. Bayern would walk la liga. The depth is just unreal. The team doesn't depend on one player, a maybe Scweinsteiger but that's it. Pep has got a job on his hands

That awkward moment when Arsenal was tougher than Barcelona.

Meh they needed that. They didn't know how to entally deal with such a big lead. Lesson truly learnt.

2010 they benefitted from stupid a,punt of luck, last year Dortmund raped them and they scraped it to the final. They are smashing teams this season. Not surprised by them being in the final, it's the way they got there hat has shocked me.

Bayern have been in 3 of 4 CL finals in the most recent seasons (this one included). I have to say I'm a bit confused by the surprise their season has generated. Yes it's been extraordinary but it's not as though this has come out of no-where or anything.

2010 wasn't just luck, though I can see why a Manchester United fan would like to believe it was.

Agreed, until the first leg people still had Barca and Madrid as heavy favourites.
And i don't know why, but i suppose Germany will start getting some well earned respect now.
With that said i don't think Jibs himself is surprised at Bayerns run.
More their mentality and domination as they were always accused of choking and inconsistencies which both seem to have gone.

Re: From Never Munchen to super Munchen
My comment was more a general statement than an indictment of Jibers' thread. Contrary to what the rumours and paranoia suggest, I am not out to get any specific poster (other than DTOR).Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:RedOranje wrote:Bayern have been to 3 of 4 CL finals in the most recent seasons (this one included) so I'm confused by the amount of surprise at their run this season.

Would any player from Barca or Madrid not named Missi or Donaldo make it in to this Bayen side?

Nope Bayern are better in every department. Ronaldo would get treated like robben. Can you imagine Ronaldo running like Ribery? No one in Madrid will make bayerns first 11
