And Mou has been pretty awful in the league, Carlo can't to much worse. Maybe Carlo would ditch the constant counter attacking which should really be a plan B for such a big club. Carlo gets too much grief.
Only in GL he does. Outside he is praised for what he is. Bizarre forum it is sometimes.

Then your view of tactics is severely warped, I must be mistaken. Disapprove his tactics in any of these 3 teams and I'll accept your claim.
As of now, its quite a baffling statement.

Yeh, Perez has given a pre-contract to Ancelotti.
However I'd prefer Klopp after what he did yesterday or Heynckes.

Well if Carlo goes to RM, Ibra might be on his way back to Turin after all.
I don't think Ancelotti would be bad for Madrid, surely he has to be one of the best managers around.

A CB I can understand. It took Barca far too long to understand they need one.
But a striker? Messi ain't moving wide, Barca probably won't change from 4-3-3 and once again you'll have a striker (Probably a big name too) playing second fiddle to Messi and having to do a lot of leg work for him, not to mention get his ass boo'd out of the stadium if he doesn't look to feed Messi.
If I was a capable striker, I would not be looking to Join Barca. Backwards move if you're already playing in a big club.

Barca's plan in most big games recently has been this....
Busquets
Xavi Iniesta
-----Messi----- Pedro
Villa
Xavi Iniesta
-----Messi----- Pedro
Villa
With Alves attacking the space on the right when possible, this does not surprise me in the slightest.
As mentioned before the whole fake 9 stuff has become easy for big teams to defend against.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Even if Alves attacks that space and Villa/CF plays, I still think a top defensive team could handle them. They just need to be more flexible and less one dimensional when they play.
That and they aren't doing what they did under Pep. Balague said:

well, obviously that was a joke, to dignify how little i rate him. Let's see, i look at managers based off their most recent experiences, and when i look at Carlo's team building skills at PSG, i am disappointed. I saw a man who took almost 18 months to figure out an actual tactical guideline for his team. he had no clear direction which way he wanted to go. he swapped formations more time than mou said he wanted to return in england. if it wasnt for Ibra he would have never won the league (not yet i know).
look Arq, i respect the man but he has shown little to justify the praise you give to him (at least in the perspectives of becoming RM manager). He is another coach that will ride on CR without trying to put together a potent tangible footballing unit. The best thing he did at PSG was to give the players confidence and making them believe they can be great, we dont need that. his work as far as getting the team to perform as a whole week in and week out, his ability to develop a brand of footy, have fell a bit short if you ask me.
But then again, he is being chosen because he has a big name, he can supposedly control the locker room like mastermind mourinho. but if we look at the football PSG have been playing in 18 months, he should never be even talked about. But then again, it's Perez, and he is never going to help us win another CL with the decisions and choices he makes.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Unless Pedro goes back to the Freddie Ljungberg type player he was before.
And stop just hugging the touch line offering f*ck all then they should look to improve on him.
Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they used the system i mentioned and bought Neymar and a CF

It is but they're still going to pass about like they do currently and not get anywhere against solid defenses. By flexibility I mean in style. They're too one dimensional currently against solid defenses.

Aye 5 goals all season
Fact is the awful Alexis " Jesus wept" Sanchez has double the assists of Pedro and one less goal and infinitely less game time.
Now i'm not saying Alexis has been good it just shows how awful Pedro is.
He offers f*ck all besides work rate.

Never been impressed for Pedro outside of the NT. He just isn't very good at any aspect of the game whenever I've watched him.
I would expect him to be a sevilla quality player or something. Not Barcelona.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Tbf he is very good for Spain, but for Barca the last couple of years he has gone from someone who peeled off the wing attacked the space in behind the defence to someone who just hugs the touchline and offers close to zilch offensively.
Barca's forwards, Messi aside are horrendously ineffective.

Ffs and I thought Lewand was confirmed going to Bayern as well...thats why I dont like those making threads and post saying like it is confirmed done deal....
Ancelotti is another one I still have my suspisions about... Has his work at PGS been really that good? His time overall at Chelsea? His time at Milan overall? Obviously a very experience manager though....
