IzzyC08 wrote:AC Milan and Udinese are keeping tabs on Hannover's Manuel Schmiedebach, after the midfielder impressed for the German side in 2010-11.
The 22-year-old played an integral role in helping the AWD Arena outfit exceed all expectations and finish fourth in the Bundesliga last term, and may now be in line for a move to a Serie A club.
Bild reports that the Italian sides sent scouts to watch Mirko Slomka's team play a friendly fixture against Hapoel Tel Aviv, and are weighing up a summer move.
The former Hertha Berlin youth player is entering the last year of his contract, and will be able to leave the Saxony club for free in June 2012.
Both Milan and Udinese have lost key central midfielders in the form of Andrea Pirlo and Gokhan Inler in this transfer window, and may look to the uncapped German as a youthful replacement.

During the friendly match against Solbiatese, the CEO of AC Milan, Adriano Galliani, has issued brief but important statement: "We have identified our Mr. X. Also, I want to reassure the fans: the club will remain property of owner Berlusconi." The midfielder, whose name is not known should not be Riccardo Montolivo player who most likely will come regardless of the long-awaited deal for Mr. X.

just another bs report. although schmiedebach is a fine player, hes nowhere near milan quality. actually hes not good enough for udinese too.... the whole hannover squad overachieved and finishing 4th last season was nothing but a fluke. im pretty sure schmiedebach will remain in germany - hertha, werder or hsv could very well use him and l'kusen will need a replacement for the leaving vidal, while ballack seems finished and l.bender overshadowed by his twin brother....
thats all off-topic though, our officials were probably there to finalize the adiyiah deal...

Ibra is already in flight, Inzaghi returns to scoring (Milan)
The friendly with Solbiatese finishes 12-0. Galliani: “Mister X exists, actually I’m joking”.
T*ttosport
Vidal is bought!
€10.5 million to Bayer. 5-year contract to the midfielder. “It is a big step forward for me. It is a dream. I will play wherever”.
The Germans were very proper and refused offers from Bayern and Chelsea. Even Spalletti pulled back. The player is expected in Torino to undergo medicals and sign the deal with the club.
And today starts the blitz for Rossi
Pepito’s agent is on a mission from Villarreal to finalize the deal, even if the Spanish side want more cash than what Marotta is offering. The go-ahead by the end of the week?

Some info on this Schmiedbach.
Serge Gnabry wrote:milanista99 wrote:Guys can you get give me some information about Hanover's Manuel Schmiedebach? Italian papers are saying we are interested in him (along with Udinese) and honestly I don't know anything about him. Much appreciated.
Poor man's Sahin basically. DM, who runs, tackles but also has solid vision and plays nice passes. Good player.
Kevin-Prince Boateng is superior though so I don't know why Milan would need him?!
Dortmund just won the League Cup, let's hope their season goes better than Schalke's did after they on it last season.

Thinks for the info dude, judging by your and other's opinions an him, we don't need him. Wouldn't mind if he joins Udinese though.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Santos midfielder Ganso has revealed he only wants to play for AC Milan once his current club eventually decide what to do with him.
The 21-year-old Brazil international has been strongly tipped to join Milan who are yet to make a formal offer.
On Wednesday Santos director of football Pedro Luiz Conceicao stated Ganso will stay in Vila Belmiro until at least the end of 2011, in order to compete in the Club World Cup.
Reports in France claim the playmaker has caught the eye of Paris Saint-Germain who are reportedly willing to spend up to €45 million for him following Leonardo's appointment as director.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals Ganso has already told Milan defender Thiago Silva of his ambition to join him at San Siro.
"I only want Milan and I am ready to wait," Ganso told Silva, as reported by the Italian newspaper.
Earlier, Milan chief Adriano Galliani said the club has identified their much sought after 'Mister X' player whose identity, for now, remains undisclosed publicly.
Milan have also been linked with Fiorentina's Riccardo Montolivo, and Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
After years of enthusiastically following Milan, I can somewhat confidently claim that I've come to learn Galliani's coded language.
Just look at his latest statements, I'm simply in love with every single of his words:
"*There are no negotiations for Montolivo as we do not want to disturb the Della Valle family.*
*There are no negotiations for Hamsik and we have never asked for him.*
*There will be a place for an non-European Union player but it will not be Ganso."
This is exactly what I'm talking about, this is definitely a hidden message to fans, a message containing the following :
"We are after Montolivo and Hamsik to equip the team for now, and Ganso will fill our last non-EU slot in January..."
I wish he keeps his way of twisting and turning words like this for years to come, I can't live without it in Summers!

Maybe not Hamsik

Milan News are reporting that Mr.X is not Ganso, Montolivo or Hamsik but are infact one of three candidates:
Bastian Schweinsteiger
Javier Pastore
Cesc Fabregas
Cesc Fabregas is an extremely difficult signing to pull off with him moving closer to Barcelona by the minute. While Pastore is a fine signing, his price-tag is outrageous for someone who has (admittedly) acheived and proved little to warrant a value of 40m+.
Enter Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The definition of Allegri's footballing philosophy. Yes, his transfer is arguably as difficult to pull off as Fabregas. But Milan will be playing Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup within the week and that will allow Galliani to open talks with Bastian. I believe Milan should offer a block-buster of an offer for Schweinsteiger. He would revolutionize our midfield.
While this is all a report from Milan News, I personally believe Schweinsteiger should be a target of Milan.
Having said all this, Ganso and Montolivo will still be targets of the Rossoneri

Hamsik is too overpriced, don't think he'll leave Napoli. But I'm thinking the same as Iras, Galliani is after Montolivo and Ganso for sure.

Galliani always want to demotivate the fans and then surprise them so that he earns more recognition and a higher place within them. He is saying these words as if they are impossible deals and then he pulls them off to show how good he is.
