He had to carry Rock last night. Rock would make any wrestler look shit.

Sure brah at least Rock can do more than one move and even if that were the case Rock isn't even a wrestler full time any more so isn't much to brag about.

Cena is this generation version of Hogan( and what a shit generation it is), except Hogan was actually entertaining on the mic and sold promo's better.

Dem 5 moves I'm not even going to acknowledge his "Sharpshooter" which is a disgrace to the move. Rock is an icon and charismatic as fck but in the ring he's not good enough. Cena carried him at Mania and the fact that Rock got injured even though there were no huge spots in his match is kind of sad although Rocky gets huge kudos for continuing despite getting injured.

Cena is terribad in terms of wrestling technique but at least he can sort of hang with CM Punk in the ring and produce great matches. Since coming back all of Rock's matches have been underwhelming. LOL at comparing Ceba to Hogan though, Cena is bad but at least he is willing to take bumps and put effort into his matches (sometimes).

This generation has some great talent, I'm actually willing to bet that overall this roster has more wrestling talent than previous ones. The problem is poor booking and not being able to out their talent in a position to get over. Hate all you want but the part time guys bar Jericho have done nothing to put the new guys over and at least Taker (dat goat ffs) puts on great matches when he comes back for 1 match a year.

Thing is i'm not talking about just wrestling skill as we all know Rock ain't that good in that department i'm talking about the whole package.

I do agree the wrestling skill is good but the mic skills and everything else that goes with it is shit.

Cena is just average in every department.... the fact Cena has won the WWE title 11 times just shows how much of a joke this generation is and how they can't find any quality to push the storylines in the same manner..

The mere fact Edge who was a mid carder back in the day had to bumped up to pretty much the face of the company says it all

I like Punk and he would have been one of the few who shone through when WWE was at his peak but the rest are a joke....

Get the feeling Vince knows it too having to bring back Rock, HHH, Lesnar and Taker.

Cena's not average imo. He's definitely on main event level in terms mic skills and overall package. He's up there with Hogan, Rock and Austin.

Edge wasn't really face of the company. It's natural for someone who was a midcarder before to become a main eventer, if the superstar is good enough.

Also if someone is WWE champ he is the face of the company its how it works.... he does all the promo work, all the media stuff and its who people tune in to watch.

I'm not talking about face as in the good guy.... i'm talking about face as in the person who represents the company.

When Stone Cold was a heel and WWE champ he was still doing the media stuff for the company and advertising the company to the masses.

Same to Edge when he was and same for anyone when he is the flagship champ of the flagship show.
