I really don't understand newcastle, havent seen a team yo-yo this much ever in my memory.

I just realized.

Hope Stoke get relegated. But it would be nice to raid Newcastle for HBA, Cabaye, Santon, etc. so I wouldn't mind them going down if it's not possible to send Stoke down.

But they aren't going down to the dizzying heights of the fizzypop. Stoke sunderland, and Wuhan are all worse

If I were to have my pick of any Newcastle player it would probably be Cabaye given the needs of our team, however our management is incredibly one-eyed in its recruitment and I can only see Santon and possibly Mbiwa given our past interest catching their eye. He would be a luxury in the current squad, however I'd consider the option if Newcastle did go down, which won't happen.

I've never wanted Ilicic, it's Ninja who has the man crush. Would accept him as back-up if he were cheap perhaps, but Zamparini hates us anyway, so he wouldn't be.

Cabaye? isn't his need a bit on the back burner considering the form of Montolivo and considering IMO at least they are extremely similar players.

I think Cabaye could take KPBs role.

We're desperately in need of a player who can be an alternative to Montolivo. At the moment, Riccardo has to play every waking moment of our season because we have no other creative alternative. They are quite similar, however when you consider that we are faced with playing the likes of Muntari, Flamini and Nocerino instead, I'm prepared to have them step on each other's toes at times. I personally would like to see the arrival of someone such as Hernanes, however if Cabaye were offered to us, I think he would certainly improve our midfield, playing ahead of Montolivo and De Jong.

If Montolivo were to have been injured for any significant amount of time this season, we'd be outside the Champions League spots for a certainty. Anyone capable of fulfilling his role - and ideally also being able to coexist with him - remains a crucial objective in our transfer dealings.

Sell: Santon, Cabaye, Cisse, Sissoko, Debuchy, Ben Arfa, Gouffran.

Buy: Shawn Wright-Phillips, Callum McManaman, Heskey, Barton (on loan), Jenkinson (on loan)

and get promoted instantly.

Never happening in a million years considering what happened.

Quite frankly i consider Allardyce and Barton unlikely considering Ashley got rid because he couldn't get on with him.
