Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
It is not going to be an easy game with the second team on the pitch. Mallorca is facing relegation and might provide a decent challenge.

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
I dont really mind if we get beat.
At the end of the day thats what our "advantage" is there for, to experiment and rest players for important games.

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
I agree gondov, I was just saying, it is not going to be easy. However, if we want to be one of the best, we should clearly be able to have a second team that could handle Mallorca in home ground.

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
This could be fun and refreshing game considering lineup.
Sub Sanchez to Villa at some point.
Pinto
Montoya - Bartra - Song - Muniesa
Cesc - Dos Santos - Thiago
Tello - Sanchez - Deulofeu

I hope Sanchez plays full 90 minutes so he is too tired to play PSG again.. Tello would of provided more help that whole game lol.

Muniesa played with the B.
Sergi Roberto is not injured Dani, he played with the B also.
I would play a similar line up from jiopsi, important is to keep starters fresh.

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
I thought he torn a knee ligament..maybe I am confusing him with someone else.
I heard the B's were winning 1-0. didnt watch them this week..or last week actually.
How they play?

Grimaldo has a torn ACL. Roberto is fine.
Didn't watch much of the game.

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
If Tello plays tonight, it would be his 50th game for Barcelona #fcblive So far: 49 games, 15 starts, 13 goals, 7 assists
Is Tello underrated?

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
I dont think he is rated at all.
I think hes a very effective player, loose around the edges and has some flaws but really effective in most games.
If he was a player of a bigger stature and performed like this, I am very sure we would be outraged he isnt playing more.

Damn that's little too good lineup for my liking. Hopefully we score couple quick ones.

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
I hope this first half just shows that good Cesc and Sanchez are, they have been getting so much stick from even Barca fans
I hope they both keep this form up, espeically improved their finishing and be more clinical! I think in the big games vs opponents is where they are being critisied, unfairly usually, since they get compared with Messi
Its a real joy to watch them 2 finally enjoying themselves, the fruit of much hard work over the course of the season
We didnt start too well, and defensely had a moment or 2, but the goals settled, and another step to our title WOOO HOOO~!!

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
I am very happy about the current results but I am trying very hard not to get excited with this form as they both have disappointed me one too many times this season, if they do it vs PSG then i'll change my mind but for now eh..
Although would be nice if cesc kept this form.. imagine
Neymar-----Cesc------Messi
although Messi probably wont move back to RW but still :fap:

Abidal
Cesc playing his natural position makes a world of difference to his performance. Alexis making a strong case to start vs PSG.

Re: Barcelona v Mallorca
I'll mention some negatives since most have covered or will cover the positives:
Bartra, committing too much to recovering the ball and unaware of runners going behind him completely unmarked. Otherwise pretty solid in air and passing the ball
Thiago is still guilty of playing fantasy at the wrong moments. A few too many mistakes for a CM. Otherwise some of the long balls he played were absolutely Not Alonso standards pace-wise but he can curl the ball with such accuracy it is almost Özil-like.
Montoya made some very weird, amateur-ish decisions. Such as when a wingback is pressed, football 101 says never cut inside but he did on a couple of occasions and lost the ball in a very dangerous area.
Finally Song was given a little room to do some of his signature 2011-12 Arsenal 'hollywood' passes.
Piqué showing he can't direct a header to save his life (Tello's cross).
Alexis is really not a striker. How many chances does he miss every match. He just hesitates too much to take a shot.
And may I finally add Manzano is the most overrated, shittiest coach I've ever seen in La Liga. Don't understand how he gets employed.
PS: That cheering in Camp Nou for Abidal. Did any one cry?
