Piqué is going to play week in week out. More fatigue = more risk of injury.

Song and Cesc in midfield, dat winning Arsenal formulae Laughing

That said, Mallorca have been crap this season, but so were Celta and we all saw how they held Barcelona last week.

I was supposed to attend this game but my new passport did not arrive in time.

Good thing, first trip back in ages and Messi, Xavi and probably Iniesta and Dani Alves not starting...would of been so dissapointed, even if Thiago plays and puts on a clinic.

Heh, I was in Barcelona last week, no home matches for the first team, tried Mini Stadi and Barça B were playing away too. And so were Regal (basketball team), Alusport (futsal team) and Intersport (handball team).

Great luck right there Mad

On the plus side you probably would have witnessed a victory:

Games without Messi in the last 3 years: 14 total, 1 draw, 13 victories

I'd be interested to see Song-Batra/Pique at the back and maybe use Sergi Roberto (if he is fit ) as the DM.

whenever Messi doesn't play I see Barcelona more as the Spain team, less risky, less entertaining, and slower.

Not true at all.

Barca will never be less entertaining/less risky than Spain. Even without Messi. I mean you're free to think that, I just think you're wrong.

Tbf, 7 of those were against low level teams in CDR

Ceuta (0-2), Almeria (0-3), L’Hospitalet (0-1 and 9-0), Alavés (0-3 and 3-1) and Cordoba (5-0).

Last pointless UCL-group game

BATE (4-0)

League games

10-11 Gijón (1-0) Athletic Bilbao (1-3)
11-12 Levante (2-1) Deportivo (0-0) and Malaga (1-3)

Hardly impressing.

Meh, we are still a VERY good team without Messi and if motivated enough we can beat any side any day.

I would want to see
--------------Valdes
Montoya--Bartra--Buscuit--Alba
--------------Song
-----Thigoat-------Cesc
Sanchez-------Villa--------Tello

Bring on Pedro for Tello
Gerrard Deulofeu for Villa, and move Sanchez to middle.
Sub out a wing back for Adriano if he is available, preferably Alba so he can get some rest.
We should start using La Liga as experimental games considering our healthy lead over Madrid.

I believe Pedro is still injured. Valdes still got one game left to serve his ban.

And it's just sad to see that some people still use the term 'gay' as an insult.

CBarca M8 don't think it was neccessary to have a lash at Jiposi.

OT: Hope we play Barta and hope he does well. Alves needs a rest, Montoya deserves minutes than what he currently has atm. Will Deuf feature in the squad? Hopefully because you can bring him on for Villa or Alexis if both are playing...
Song to play at CB?

Deuf was in the bench for PSG along with last La Liga match, so hopefully he will finally make an appearance.
Alba needs more rest then alves considering he just came back from injury, so I expect to see Montoya at LB.
Don't know how our injury situation is like right now, I think Adriano is okay to play? but not sure maybe we will all be surprised and see Abidal be re-introduced in Camp Nou

Hearing some rumours that JDS to start at RB, Montoya at LB, which should be interesting as it can give rest to both men and see how JDS can cope.

Doesnt really matter who you play against, Messi plays bad teams too.

Also, Bilbao, Levante and Malaga are decent names to have.

It is not going to be an easy game with the second team on the pitch. Mallorca is facing relegation and might provide a decent challenge.
