Re: Neymar Watch
Brazil NT is a strange animal. Players look to be spectacular and effectiveness seems secondary... I mean look at Lucas: Carlo forced to play simple and cover defensively. He's been great as a result although raw.
Neymar is also very raw. It will come down to mentality as with all great talents. Will he be coachable? It's a shame he's still in Brazil because a lot of that tactical and collective discipline is drilled into players at a young age in Europe. The older and more egotistic you become, the harder it is.
Personally, i think Madrid or Barca are the worse places for him. He needs to go somewhere where he plays with the ball at his feet. With Messi and Cr7 on these 2 teams, he's going to need to become more of an off the ball and complementary player. I mean Barca already need to satisfy both Messi and Iniesta and i feel Iniesta gets sacrificed.

Oh, so I guess Germany, Netherlands and Italy are all below half decent?

Neymar didnt do shit againsy Germany. He scored when Germany stopped playing. They were 3-1 up in a friendly and didnt care anymore, the game was over.
And from what i saw of rhe highlights, he didnt do shit against Italy either.

Re: Neymar Watch
Why was he put in the same tier as Messi and Ronaldo? I think the reason was because of his potential, but then somehow he moved into the same tier as them.

Who puts him in the same tier?
Nobody worth listening to, thats for sure.
Only Pele and probably a couple lunatic agents or coaches.

Re: Neymar Watch
you are only as disappointed as the height of the expectation you put on a player.
Stop expecting Neymar to be the second coming of Pele, or next in line to be the best player in the world (which is a title no one should want), and you wont be disappointed anymore.

Re: Neymar Watch
I specifically said "FROM WHAT I SAW (aka Highlights), he didnt do shit against Italy."
And theres no arguing he didnt do shit against Germany. He really didnt do anything.
And how am i biased? First i hate Chelsea, now peoplw say i hate Brazil? Im juat a realist and i have no problem going against the majority.

Pretty sure Nerman scored against Germany. Does that not disprove the "didn't do shit" argument?

Re: Neymar Watch
Well you obviously didnt watch the game. Germany was p 3-1 very late in the match, and literally let Neymar shoot. They didnt care anymore, the game was over. If you watched the match instead of looking at stats you would know that.

Re: Neymar Watch
Well duh, look at Neuer and Boateng not caring.
As you can see Neuer doesnt even dive and Boateng is laughing at how futile Neymar's goal was.

Neymar is crap but at the same time he might become the same level as prime Robben...who according to him gets into the Dutch all time 11.

Look at all the defenders around him and everyone literaply just stands there. Boateng nonchalantly sticks a leg out. That is called not giving a shit, i dont even know how you can argue that. Of course Neuers gonna dive for it, no GK wants to get scored on, but the rest didnt care.

Nerman would be a beast at Barca, I think he has all the tools, he just has to get used to deferring to Messi.
