Sagna & Koscielny start for France against Brazil in Porto Alegre tonight. Giroud on bench. KO 8pm.
Re: International Watch
Correction: Sagna & Koscielny are NOT starting for France against Brazil. Earlier team news was fake

Re: International Watch
Sagna & Koscielny didn't come off the bench, while Giroud came on late on for Benzema. Not sure he touched the ball though.
Re: International Watch
Joel Campbell just had a great shot go off the post against Mexico in the opening 5 minutes.

From what I saw, Campbell looked dangerous against Mexico yesterday. Excited to see how he'll continue to develop

Re: International Watch
Arsenal’s Joel Campbell is being hailed as a ‘sensation’ on the FIFA website after the striker put in a sizzling performance against Mexico for Costa Rica.
The World Cup qualifier finished 0-0 but it was Campbell who came closest, hitting the post and generally causing all manner of problems for the Mexican defence.
FIFA named Joel Campbell ‘Player of the Day’ for the round of matches which took place yesterday [Wednesday]. On their site they said
Player of the day – Joel Campbell (CRC)
Don't know what is delaying FA from giving him a work permit. We got one for Ryo,FFS and he was playing high-school football and yet Joel who has represented his country at the highest level is yet to get one.
If he spends one more season at Betis,am sure he would end up at Betis on a permanent basis

While Costa Rica’s draw at Azteca was down to a stifling collective effort in defence, the lone Tico striker was a revelation at the other end. His pace and eager running kept the Mexican defence off balance, and he brought about the best chances of the game, hitting the woodwork early and being denied on several occasions only by the heroics of net-minder Corona. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger may well call the 20-year-old sensation back to London from his loan stint at Betis if he keeps up this kind of impressive form.

Re: International Watch
i don't think we have applied for his permit yet, he should easily get one because he has played amount of INT games needed for a player to get his permit

Re: International Watch
Was watching France U20 vs Columbia U20 as our new man Yaya Sanogo was playing.
I think he can become a very good player at Arsenal, he's fast, he's strong, has good movement off the ball and wins a lot of headers. Reminds me a lot of Romelu Lukaku or dare I say Emmanuel Adebayor.
My only worry is his injury record.
