That front four isn't too bad. hmm

Shame the centre of midfield is so lacking.

Maybe Hodgson will surprise us all and play Chamberlain centrally and Rooney, Sturridge and Walcott as a front three. hmm

Is that Lars or Sven Bender, by the way?

Chamberlain and Walcott both played well for England tonight. Chamberlain's end product was a bit wayward but his general play was good, while Walcott looked dangerous and linked up very well with Rooney all game (hint hint nudge nudge).

Both came through unscathed, as far as I know. Walcott, I think, will definitely start against Brazil on Sunday, but it wouldn't surprise me if Milner came in for Chamberlain.

Oxlade asked to be subbed so i am not sure if he is completely fit.

Wish Wilshere was available for Brazil.

on the other Hand Germany started very well some excellent stuff and Good bit of Link up and interchanging Between Poldi and Kruse

Per with some good blocks and Interceptions

but the level dropped in 2nd half physically and maybe more changes by Ecuadur got them back in to game also maybe Germans not helped by some of the Pairings that might not be best compliments
Lars and Poldi with some mad moments
but as commentator put it was like Lars Giving 200% each game Razz

Seems like Walcott'll play CF against Brazil tomorrow at the Maracana.

Don't know what to think of this. Laughing

If he does play down the middle then it'll be alongside Rooney. Might work quite well if Rooney's in the mood.

Chamberlain came on and did pretty well playing centrally. He wasn't afraid to get on the ball and try and dictate play, and he scored an excellent goal.

Walcott, on the other hand, was terrible. Touch was loose, passing wayward and he didn't beat anyone with the ball.
