Had Gibbs played instead of Vermaelen I dont think you would have won by 2 goals at Arsenal. We were going through a tough time and we were not ourselves. You were the best team that year by far against every team you faced, and I believe we were the best team you face that year.

See, you'd think that knowing Bayern are football's undoubted top dogs at the moment, that Arsenal would be the one side to garner some respect but apparently that isn't so! Well Regardless, I don't take 3-3 on aggregate with shame, and I certainly don't accept 2nd best finishes but at that point it was about pride, mind you.

It's not out of disrespect that I try to trash-talk you, but out of love.
Hope some of you will reciprocate that love now and then by coming into the Bayern section and giving us shit there, it seems a little slow down there.

Because it must be so hard to support the world's most successful team atm and throw stones at Arsenal

8 years ago Bayern would have been considered the underdogs in comparison.

If developements since then have reversed this, it's not our fault is it?

There's no hard feelings for your success, it's commendable and it's being done in a manner Arsenal would do well in emulating but that's not my point. No one was comparing Ramsey's accolades to Schweiny's and no one was claiming we were happy to go out in the round of 16.

Just waiting for some Bayern slipups to chitchat with you in the Bayern section
