Who deserves the number #10 ?!

I say Marchisio we all know why .....

The same man who I have been saying could play as a No.10 for over a year, the same man we both wanted to have it in the summer.

It is a difficult decision, I wanted to vote for new signing but they may prove to be flop at Juve so number 10 should go to our future captain Marchisio!

even though I think that number 10 is untouchable for the moment, I can say that marchisio deserves it, he grew up in juventus and when he had the ball in his feet I felt the same way when del piero had the ball, it was the same emotion. And when he scored the second goal i screamed I KNEW IT! I had a very strong feeling that out next captain would score.

Marchisio has it all he is modest, sincere, player who does great under pressure, who has juventino heart. Has the skills and loves the club as much as ADP did. ADP is one and only no one comes close to him but if there is something coming close to him its Marchisio no1 else. They are the same in character, passion and he never gives up.

Marchisio would be a great choice, but he may like his current number at the same time

It would be nice to see an attacker wear the number

I just know that he chose #8 for a reason, I remember him saying his favourite players were Gerrard and Del Piero and he modeled his game after both

Like Luca said ,#8 is still a great number which has been associated with some of the great midfielders in the world and Marchisio is following that path.

That being said it would be a nice gesture for Marchisio to receive that coveted #10 jersey either ways.

not heir in terms of skills and game style but in terms of character, bianconero heart, giving his best and always showing up in big games and stepping up, and in terms of meaning of the #10 , Marchisio is the one for me

Do you think when he took the shirt it's because he thought he would become the icon of the club? Of course not, he took the shirt because it's a great number for an attacking player and the club has a strong history of great number 10s

Del Piero said he was a kid once just dreaming of that shirt, so we shouldn't approach this like it's captaincy when it's not

On a serious note, I don't want Claudio to take up the coveted number 10 for two reasons: (a) I want him to make the #8 jersey a legendary one and keep the tradition of legendary Juve midfielders who wore it, him, Conte etc. (B)like has already been mentioned, Juve's #10 was always a Fantasista, an attacking player with the wow factor, a game changer, fantastic free-kick specialist(I dunno if you guys give a s**t about this, but I really believe #10 should always have this ability), something not familiar with Claudio so far.

I love Marchisio and he has been a favorite player of mine for a while, but I would still prefer that a creative attacking player wear the number not a CM. I'm still holding out for Jovetic, as unlikely as that transfer might be.

I think it's funny that Giovinco has moved out of this conversation entirely. I wonder if he'll even be on the squad next season. Juve may want to sell him sooner rather than later.

ADP is one of the greatest players in Juve's history but lets not act like he owns the #10 jersey or something.We should not overlook the club's entire history just for one or two players.This is Juventus football club we're talking about ,a team that has produced numerous Ballon D'or winners over the years.It was a very classy from him to say that the #10 should not be retired and thats how it should be imo,the tradition of great #10's at the club should continue.

You know if we signed Van Persie this summer,i would've given the #10 to him.

Again to clarify myself ,its still a number at the end of the day and wouldnt mind if a non-attacker in this case Marchisio to wear it,like i said it would be a really nice gesture indeed.Just explaining myself as to what i would personally prefer.

If we are looking at playing style Jovetic reminds me so much of ADP, he is #10 material ..

We have to get over that issue and face that something like that may happen in this day and age of football. This is the reason that the club put a one year waiting period on the number. Fans need to realize that not every number ten will be an ADP. At the end of the day, it's just a number.

I doubt it. Marchisio is a natural CM. Conte is just adjusting his tactics based on what the opposition is doing.

I think because Pirlo was marked so tightly it gives Marchisio more freedom up front and Conte knew this and allowed him to expose the space
