This happened because Fenerbece's fans were banned due to stadium violence. But the Fener administration pleaded to UEFA that they make it for only Women and children.

Hence, it is not a trend, but rather the outcome of a punishment. Hopefully it will start a trend where instead of banning the whole fan base, you ban the trouble making males.

An all female crowd is kind of fun though Razz

Maybe one game a year where the crowd is all female and kids?

It think it would do wonders for the game in general.

Would this actually happen in a place where they're not as passionate as in Turkey though? I have my doubts that England, Spain and Italy could pull it off :coffee:

Umm..

If they had the fortitude to do it in England, it would work. But there's no reason to do it in England since the fans are usually well behaved.

Spain, no reason for it, but it could work.

Italy, might result in a few riots , fan casualties etc.
