Bit difficult to follow that blueprint when the people who created that blueprint no longer work for the company.

Difficult, not impossible. Considering all of the info from the ground up is there for everybody to see.

I think i will trade this PS3 version for cash instead of the PS4 version. I loved the campaign and enjoyed it far more than the multiplayer (hipsteRG).
Maybe i am too tired atm or something but i am not sure atm.
Or i am just a fifa addict.
MW2 was imbalanced as all hell but it was defnitely the most fun i had on a CoD game....
Personally i think the new generation is a good thing; a lot of things have gotten stale, time to try new shit.
I am glad i played the campaign, but i don't enjoy myself on the multiplayer. It's like a chore and gaming shouldn't be a chore.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
That's how I felt about Black Ops 2. I only played that game online about 9-10 times, in total. I still can't decide whether Ghosts or Black Ops 2 is worse, thoughRealGunner wrote:Yep exactly.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:A lot of people on my twitter feed say CoD has lost its fun factor.... the words i seen used its like tastes like chewed gum, flavor gone..... not saying that's what you are feeling but it seems like it.RealGunner wrote:Well, let's get the fact that i am shit get out of the way first.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
I think I like Ghosts better than Black Ops 2, but Black Ops 2 had less frustrating elements in it, and it was really easy to get into. I could rush the way I've always done in CoD games, and beat up to multiple opponents at the same time, largely thanks to my above average reflexes. In Ghosts, I keep dying for reasons that I can't even explain sometimes. I mean, in previous CoD games it was usually quite easy to point out what had gone wrong when I got killed, but in Ghosts man... I have no idea. Quite often, it's because I'm lagging and I can't seem to handle the sensitivity properly, but other times it's because the game just doesn't want me to do well, so it turns all opponent assault rifles into burst weapons with aimbotsTomwin Lannister wrote:I like Ghosts, but it doesn't feel like COD

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Yeah it's much more complicated to overcome the numbers game on these games. Even though I play on medium sensitivity, my reactions have always been great and i'd dominate on the old CODs.
Now even though I mostly come out on top, when you get outnumbered you're done for, Low health combined with the fact that people seem to travel in packs this game means you're screwed when you run into 3 people. One bullet from each is more than enough to kill you.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
MW maps are much better than Black Ops maps. The colouring is better, so is the layout and texture etc. Plus they're more simple. Also the cartoony feeling to MW maps makes it more fun.
Ideally a map should be 1 side vs the other. The map should be medium sized, simple and no rain. So no 10000 passage ways where you end up getting lost. It should have a few buildings and a few 'cool' spots. Similar to Highrise, Skidrow, Terminal and a lot of the other MW2 maps.

Exactly. That is why i loved the COD4 maps. They were one side vs the other. Linear maps. One side at one end vs other side at the other end.Yohan Modric wrote:MW maps are much better than Black Ops maps. The colouring is better, so is the layout and texture etc. Plus they're more simple. Now you get a circular map with 10 paths and with just 12 players it's disgusting. Plus random spawning at YO|O spots.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
I played MW3 for the first time in a while, today. I never thought I'd say this, but when compared to Ghosts, MW3 is a really solid game, in my opinion. I had tons of fun playing Kill Confirmed and Search & Destroy on MW3, whereas on Ghosts, like RG pointed out, it almost feels like a chore to play public matches. I don't enjoy the maps, and the ridiculous bullet damage + my personal issues with the game really take away the fun factor. I'll keep playing it, and I'll even get it for PS4 (at a reduced price), but only because it's a brand new game and everyone else are playing it these days. It's funny that I enjoyed playing MW3 so much today, because only a month ago, I was really bored of that game
Versacci: Tell me if you ever feel like playing MW3 again. I'm busy this weekend, but I'll definitely have time next week, if you're up for it

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
My suggestion for the next, or for future Call of Duty games is to let us play as a soldier from our own nation's special forces. I don't know about you guys, but I'd love to play as a soldier from the Norwegian special forces, and not just some random military character/outfit.
And yes, I know that there has been an FPS game in the past where you could do this, and you had the option to play as a soldier from the Norwegian FSK in that game, but I played it once and it wasn't for me..

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
It's things like this that bring out the patriot in me Ā I would honestly really appreciate it if they had made it possible to play as a soldier from an international special forces unit. Unlike, the no-name characters that we have been playing as up until now, picking a soldier from your own nation would, in my opinion, make things a bit more interesting.MJK (Marinejegerkommandoen) means "Marine Hunter Command", and is similar to the US Navy SEALs. Wiki source claims that "Norwegian marines are considered some of the best SOF (Special Operations Forces) in the world, which is confirmed under including international exercises with other special forces."
FSK (Forsvarets spesialkommando) means "The Army's Special Command". Wiki source references one article of Norway's biggest newspaper:
"The Norwegian soldiers have trained together for years with British SAS troops and U.S. special forces in the Winter War in Norway and has a reputation for being the best of the best. It is this expertise that makes the Norwegian soldiers and Norwegian offer [of military assistance to the USA] stand out from most offers of military assistance that has come from over 30 countries."
HJK (HƦrens jegerkommando) is a collaborative unit of the FSK, meaning "The Army's Hunter Command". FSK-HJK is based in a separate section of Rena Camp, and everything they do is done behind closed gates. No member is identifiable, and they come and leave wearing ski masks or hoods. So I've heard from my brothers and other conscripts who got freaked out by them.
In short, yes, Norwegian special forces kick a$$ and combine extreme physical attributes with top notch military capabilities. However, the special forces of NATO train together regularly and learn from each other, so there is no contest as long as they stay alive in the field.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
This MW1 montage makes me wish I had played it while the game was still brand new. I didn't play MW1 until several years after it got released, and I didn't play the game enough to enjoy it as much as those who keep praising it as the best Call of Duty game in the series. I did enjoy the maps, though.. it's really a shame that they can't seem to make their maps like this anymore.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
This is why i hype COD4 so much. It was the perfect FPS. One of the greatest of all time.
The maps were perfect. They all varied to each other. In Ghosts, you have 10 maps with the same texture. A burnt down factory in every map lol. Then you have a futuristic factory in a different map
COD4 maps were all different to each other. A map in snow, a map for sniping ( like highrise in MW2 ), a map in the rain, a map for rushing, a tactical map where you can't rush or camp. The scenery in most maps was so good as well.
You would fall in love with the guns instantly. Everyone had their own special guns they would prefer. You actually felt the guns in your controller. It was that emotionally gripping. My controller felt heavy when i used a Heavy Machine Gun
I think Ghosts is the end of my COD obsession. Doubt i'll ever buy a COD game again. Unless you like it Thimmy

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Loved COD4
MW2 was my favourite
WAW with all 3 map packs was up there aswell
Ghosts is nowhere near MW2 for me
Like I always say, and RG says too. The maps suck. Run down building after run down building. Boring
Maps like highrise weren't following the war story, but were amazing maps.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Ghosts may be my last CoD game, as well. I'm not a fan of that game. It's one thing that I'm not very good at it, but I don't really enjoy the game when I do play well, either... and the overall feel of Ghosts just isn't right. I might as well buy Battlefield 4, since the guys behind CoD seem to be aiming towards larger maps and more realism - realism, ffs.. a category where EA/Dice are a generation ahead of them. I really am enjoying MW3 these days, though.RealGunner wrote:This is why i hype COD4 so much. It was the perfect FPS. One of the greatest of all time.

MW2 is my favourite CoD of all time. It was frustrating as hell, but man.. it was GOAT If it wasn't for all of the hackers...
