Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
@Tom
Stop making shit games for a start
Releasing yearly titles is fine if the quality is there.... i don't hate on AC for example.
But CoD has been shit and broken for years but they don't even bother to even try to improve the game because the casuals that play it accept the shit that is flung in their face.
For starters they are using the same adapted engine from Half Life f*cking 2 and they don't even try to reinvent the same tired formula.
Also the map design since MW2 has been damn horrible, for all this claims about kill streak support almost all the killstreaks are ineffective due to millions of buildings on every map.
The guns and perks are just reskinned versions of what has been in every game previous.... nothing new, nothing different which makes it very boring to play.
I wouldn't even care, but seeing a game dominate every year through sales when it doesn't deserve it.... if someone just played CoD every year you would think gaming hasn't moved on at all since the 90s but it has, i see some wonderful games out there but no one plays them because the market is saturated by this crap.
Its all very depressing and games like this hold the industry back from moving forward.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
I sort of agree with Mole, i completely got sick of FPS' in general after playing CoD annually with rehashed guns and whatnot. The problem is the gaming industry has identified FPS' as hotcakes (In selling, i mean)
The only FPS game i can bear to play is Halo, at least they have expanded mechanics like driving, flying, assassinations, armor abilities and whatnot. Not to mention the fantastic landscapes that they produce for multiplayer. Plus, its a blast when your playing it with friends (offline) creating your own twisted game modes with forge (which is one of the best concepts i've had to experience). Unlike CoD's generic, shanty towns/deserted buildings/goldish-brown paletted maps.
Back to my point.. Most of FPS' these days are just just run, gun, clear level, move on. With multiplayer being too mundane with no intrinsic feel to levels or players..

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
ES that's exactly how i feel.
You can't just have a straight FPS experience it needs to be combined with other genre's and mechanics like Halo does.
But anyway i'll leave you all with your scrubby game and hope you come to your senses soon

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Played a mutliplayer match before shutting off the PS3 for the fun of it.
it didn't go too well as i finished 8/12 lol. I did like the map(not sure what it's called) and thankfully it was different to any other COD maps.
Multiplayer is really really smooth. It was a problem with MW3 but they really did make an effort to improve it this time and it worked. I now know what you all meant by being killed too easily and killing fast. It doesn't take much to die.
I'll probably stay away from Online for now though

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Don't be too hard on yourself. Ghosts is the first CoD game that has made me feel like an average to below average player. I just don't feel confident in my own ability in this game, at all. The only time I ever felt that I was dominating on Ghosts, was prior to the update where they reseted my levels and newly acquired camos after I spent roughly 6-7 hours playing the game on a sunday, in order to make up for time lost during the double xp weekend event. The game's only been out for about a week now, and I already feel like I need a break from itRealGunner wrote:Played a mutliplayer match before shutting off the PS3 for the fun of it.

I didn't see it, I was too busy raging about getting killed by a panic knifer after I put half of my magazine into him It's like the knife stab animation makes the stabber invulnerable for the duration of the animation... the guy friggin' teleported at me.LeVersacci wrote:Oh man Thimmy did you see after you got knifed where I faced a shield guy shielding his mate defusing the bomb?

Campaign Mode Spoiler alert
- Spoiler:
That was some horrible bit of acting/screenplay when they revealed that their dad was the leader of Ghosts. I mean i was surprised/shocked myself but the way it was played out
"oh dad, you were part of them all along " With Kristen Stewart's best expressions.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Read somewhere last night that gamemodes like CTF & HQ will be on PS4/XB1 Ghost version. Plus you won't die as fast as you do on ps3/360
Hope they'll patch it on PS3/360..

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
at people judging Ghosts because they played Call of Duty 2-3 years ago and assume nothing changes. I haven't touched the campaign, however I've been loving the online experience.

I played every CoD so far brah.... i didn't buy any of them since MW2 but i have played them and i see no differences up till now tbh.
I haven't played the latest one yes, but all the videos i have seen don't give off anything fresh to me.

even if his system suffers a white light of death
RG: and you'll realise that the new white light is quite sharper and brighter than the red ring of death, made the experience better
inb4 rg gives both ps4 and xbox1 10/10....

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Just finished it.
Easily one of the best games i have played in recent times. They really did make an amazing game with this one.
The ending was out of the blue. Can't wait for Ghosts 2 (for the story )
Now to get drunk with Multiplayer
