I had 27-3 on Search and Rescue, only 2 days ago... and then the update happened ffs. I was consistently dominating games that night, and I went from level 40-something to 53 in only a couple of hours of playing S&R, and then they fking reset my level and achievements. The only reason I haven't played Ghosts today, is because I'm still pissed off about it, lol.

Blitz was a pretty fun game mode. You were the one who introduced me to it. I also like Cranked.

btw how do you shoot on PS3? do you use the right trigger or R1?

like I said I will be getting this towards the end of the week, I used to be good on COD but I think I'll suffer due to the PS3 controller having dodgy triggers compared to XBOX. Might buy a PS4 controller just for this lol.

This is my rule which applies to every game.

SP first and foremost.

I usually jump straight into multiplayer. Single player isn't a priority. I just play single player when there's nothing to do.

Yeah COD games are all about multiplayer, so I don't use that rule.

They'd be nowhere without multiplayer.

The campaign is really really good. I am actually surprised ( pleasantly )

COD is definitely about multiplayer however the single player helps you to settle in the game.

Pls go lol, had over 2.0 in last one i played but its boring.

Same shit since CoD 4 hasn't changed at all, yet people buy reskinned CoD 4 every year for full price.  

Of course it's changed lol. It's obviously not going to re-invent itsself every year but why should it?

You get a fanbase that likes certain aspects of a game, why would you make random changes for the sake of change?

It's like Uncharted 4 coming out, with 3 different new main characters, no free running and no treasure hunts. It would be completely different, and that's not a good thing.

I'm going to download this for free and try it.

What would you do if you were producing COD then?

It's a fps war game. The way I see it, they can't bring out something entirely new without pretty much making a completely different game all together. Which would obviously estrange a lot of their fan base.


The game is built around guns, classes, perks, attatchments, environments, kill streak support and game modes.

They change all of these things every time a new game comes out. Changing much outside of that is a huge gamble and not many games go in a completely different direction. Those that do often fail.

Look at resident evil, they changed the game to make Resi 4. Which was a huge success. Then they changed it completely and made this co-op action packed movie experience.

The 2 games that done that (5 & 6) have been massive flops in terms of what Capcom expected. Why? They went away from what made resident evil work (I.E horror), and after 1 hit success everybody was begging them to go back to the old ways.

Releasing yearly titles is fine if the quality is there.... i don't hate on AC for example.

But CoD has been shit and broken for years but they don't even bother to even try to improve the game because the casuals that play it accept the shit that is flung in their face.

For starters they are using the same adapted engine from Half Life f*cking 2 and they don't even try to reinvent the same tired formula.

Also the map design since MW2 has been damn horrible, for all this claims about kill streak support almost all the killstreaks are ineffective due to millions of buildings on every map.

The guns and perks are just reskinned versions of what has been in every game previous.... nothing new, nothing different which makes it very boring to play.

I wouldn't even care, but seeing a game dominate every year through sales when it doesn't deserve it.... if someone just played CoD every year you would think gaming hasn't moved on at all since the 90s but it has, i see some wonderful games out there but no one plays them because the market is saturated by this crap.

Its all very depressing and games like this hold the industry back from moving forward.
